Dean grew up in Holland Township, NJ before attending East Stroudsburg University where he graduated with honors obtaining his B.S. in Biology. Dean then attended Hahnemann University in Philadelphia where he graduated with high honors gaining his Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy. Dean was the director of a private outpatient practice for 24+ years in Annandale, NJ prior to joining the St. Lukes team. Dean has an extensive post-graduate education, including advanced training in McKenzie spinal evaluations, Mulligan joint mobilization techniques as well as a strong focus on shoulder, knee, ankle, and sports rehabilitation. Dean’s areas of expertise are of all musculoskeletal, orthopedic, and sports injuries for all ages. Other areas of interest include vestibular rehabilitation, balance training, fall prevention, chronic fatigue, and other chronic pain syndromes. Dean has always believed in a comprehensive approach to the evaluation and treatment of injuries. Dean believes that there is nothing better to treat the body than the body itself and that if you treat the source of the pain that the symptoms will be alleviated. Dean achieves this though therapeutic exercise, manual techniques, posture and body mechanics instruction and patient education to address the current issue and help prevent re-injury. In his free time Dean enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, and spending time outdoors.
