Shawn is Berks County native and attended Wilson West Lawn, where he was a three-sport athlete. He continued his athletic career at Mount Union where he was a part of two Division III National Championship football teams. Shawn decided to pursue his physical therapy degree at Lebanon Valley College where he received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. He continued his commitment to improving his skills as a clinician by completing an Orthopedic Residency in Lancaster, PA. Following his residency he became a Board-Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist. Shawn believes in collaborating with his patients to develop a treatment plan that not only increases their function, but also gives them the tools to manage their symptoms in the future.  He has been involved in the treatment of patients of all types from patients trying to regain their functional independence to professional athletes. He has extensive experience treating operative, non-operative, and occupational/ergonomic conditions. Shawn has also set multiple National and North American records in powerlifting throughout his career. While no longer competing at the national level, he stays active with a variety of outdoor activities and spending time with his family.

Dr. Amber Schweitzer is dedicated to delivering individualized, patient-centered care grounded in evidence-based research to help her patients achieve their goals. Her passion for physical therapy stems from her background as a three-time county champion athlete, and a lifelong belief in the transformative power of movement and exercise for overall health and well-being. Amber earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Widener University in May 2025. She completed extensive clinical training across a variety of settings and worked with diverse patient populations, which allowed her to build a well-rounded skillset in treating both orthopedic and neurological diagnoses. Amber also holds a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science, graduating Summa Cum Laude from West Chester University of Pennsylvania in May 2022. Amber enjoys working with patients across the lifespan and believes that empowering individuals through education and collaboration is essential for long-term success. Her goal is to create a positive and empowering therapy experience while promoting the physical and mental benefits of an active lifestyle. Outside of the clinic, Amber likes to cook and spend time at the beach.

Sarah brings 23 years of experience in the healthcare community to Physical Therapy at St. Luke’s. Sarahs dedication allows her to connect with patients to ensure they feel welcomed at every appointment. In her spare time, she loves to read, watch movies, and spend time with her family.
