JR utilizes a variety of methods to help individuals exceed their previous level with an emphasis on manual therapy and functional movement. JR also coaches several youth sports teams focusing on injury prevention and fun!

Certified Hand Therapist

Evan has a passion for working with a variety of patients across the lifespan. Evan holds clinical interests in sports medicine, orthotic intervention, and orthopedic injuries to upper extremity. Evan graduated from DeSales University with a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and received his Master’s of Science in Occupational Therapy degree from Utica College of New York. Post graduation, Evan trained to obtain his board certification as a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT). Evan specializes in the treatment of the hand and upper extremity for individuals of all ages. Evan uses a variety of methods to help return individuals back to their previous level of function, including an emphasis on orthotic splinting, hands on treatment, and functional exercises to improve an individual’s performance in everyday life.

Christian has a passion for athletics and participated in a wide variety of sports growing up. He first gained exposure to the profession through a variety of sports injuries in both high school and college. Although injuries are frustrating, he enjoyed the process of learning how to get back on the field and now takes pride in helping athletes return to their best after injuries or setbacks. On a personal level, he also saw the positive impact physical therapy had on his little sister from a young age. Christian received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Quinnipiac University. He is the Assistant Facility Director for Orthopedics at the Hillcrest office, and a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopedics. He enjoys working with clients of all ages and has special interest in orthopedics, manual therapy, and sports rehab. Outside of work, he is an avid sports fan and enjoys staying active through hiking, golf, and traveling with his wife and dog.

Cat received her Bachelor’s in Health Science and Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Stockton University where she was also a student athlete participating in softball. Cat is a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Neurologic Physical Therapy. She is passionate about integrating the values of hard work, determination, and camaraderie into each of her patient’s sessions to allow them to maximize their abilities and improve their overall quality of life. She has been consistently treating patients with Parkinson’s Disease, those who are post-stroke, amputees, and others with various neurological diagnoses including vestibular disorders in which she plans on working towards a specialization. Cat works to maximize her patients’ outcomes by utilizing a patient centered approach as well as current evidence-based research. She is Rocksteady Boxing Certified and a Certified LSVT BIG clinician which help in treating Parkinson’s Disease.

At the age of 10, Elizabeth and her family emigrated to the United States, having spent the majority to her childhood living in the Dominican Republic. Moving to a new country and learning a new language allowed her to recognize the immeasurable value of language and communication, which ultimately compelled her to pursue a degree in Speech-language Pathology. Elizabeth received her Master’s of Science in Speech-Language Pathology degree from Andrews University where she also obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology-Audiology as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Studies. She has acquired experience working with the adult and pediatric population. Elizabeth is certified in Lee Silverman Voice Treatment (LSVT® BIG), SPEAK OUT!®, and VitalStim® Therapy for Voice & Dysphagia Impairments. She aspires to empower her patients to become effective and confident communicators by providing comprehensive, evidence-based evaluation and intervention to a diverse population.

Certified Stroke Rehabilitation Specialist

Brittny received her Master’s of Occupational Therapy degree from Bay Path University, and her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a minor in Black American Studies from the University of Delaware. She has experience working in inpatient rehab, assisted living, and skilled nursing facilities. She has treated a wide variety of conditions including neurological diagnoses, amputees, and orthopedic and complex medical conditions. Brittny believes in collaborating with her patients to create and achieve goals that are meaningful to them and improve their quality of life.

Certified Stroke Rehabilitation Specialist

Christine received her Master’s of Occupational Therapy degree from University of Pittsburgh and has been a part of the St. Luke’s rehabilitation team since 2018.  She began her career in acute care rehabilitation, with her primary role being the lead neurological occupational therapist in the Stroke Center of Excellence at St. Luke’s in Bethlehem prior to joining the Hillcrest Balance Center Team. Christine specializes in treating the neurological population, including patients with cerebrovascular accidents, traumatic brain injury, concussion, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s Disease, and Guillen Barre Syndrome. Christine is a Certified Stroke Rehabilitation Specialist and uses evidence-informed research to maximize patients’ functional outcomes and quality of life.

Certified Stroke Rehabilitation Specialist

Rob’s interest in neurological physical therapy began as a student completing a clinical internship which resulted in a passion for treating patients with all types of neurological diagnoses. Rob graduated from Moravian College with a Bachelor’s degree in Biopsychology and received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Emory & Henry College. He is also a Certified Stroke Rehabilitation Specialist.  Rob focuses on treating patients with neurological diagnoses, including Parkinson’s Disease, patients who are post-stroke, and patients with vestibular, dizziness, and balance deficits. He believes in a patient-centered treatment approach, focusing on goal driven and individualized therapy. Rob enjoys any outside activity and helping his patients return to their favorite activities.

Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy

Frank has a passion for working with a variety of orthopedic conditions and holds clinical interest in manual therapy, sports medicine, and treatment of spinal related concerns. Frank holds his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Slippery Rock University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from West Chester University. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Manual Physical Therapy obtained through the Manual Therapy Institute and a Fellow of Spine Physical Therapy obtained through the Academy of Spine Physical Therapy. He is also an Advanced Spine Care Practitioner acknowledged through Physical Therapy at. St. Luke’s. Frank serves as faculty for the Spine Physical Therapy Fellowship Program at St. Luke’s and serves as mentor for this and in the Orthopedic Physical therapy residency. In addition, he enjoys mentoring and teaching outside of the clinic with courses designed to teach clinicians manual therapy and treatment of the nervous system. Outside of physical therapy, Frank enjoys spending time with his family and playing sports with his two sons.

Angela has always been passionate about athletics and the wellness benefits of physical therapy. Her passion motivated her to succeed as a collegiate athlete and graduate from Elizabethtown College with a bachelor’s of Science. She then went on to receive her Master’s of Science in Physical Therapy degree from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. She is an orthopedic physical therapist who also has a strong interest in orthopedic oncology rehabilitation.  Angela is motivated by the oncology population and their resilience and determination to return to life as they knew it before diagnosis. She is dedicated to assisting these patients to achieve full recovery of function. To assist, Angela holds a certification in Strength After Breast Cancer (Strength ABC’s) which is a research based strengthening program that minimizes the risk of lymphedema.

Andrew has been active in sports throughout his life and has a lifelong interest in health and fitness. These interests, combined with a desire to help people, led Andrew to pursue a career in physical therapy. He graduated from Kean University earning a bachelor’s degree with honors in Biology. He then went on to earn his Master’s of Science in Physical Therapy degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Andrew has spent over 20 years improving his knowledge and hands-on skills with continuing education courses and continues to grow that knowledge base each year. He enjoys treating patients with orthopedic dysfunctions and sports injuries. Using manual therapy techniques, exercise expertise and patient guidance, Andrew helps his patients reach the best outcomes so their goals can be achieved. Andrew also enjoys mentoring and teaching graduate students to help them become outstanding in this field as well.

Erika received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Neumann University and started her career at St. Luke’s Acute Rehab in Bethlehem, PA in 2019. She has transitioned into the outpatient neuro physical therapy department and specializes in working with various neurologic populations including stroke, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, concussion, vestibular/balance problems, and Parkinson’s Disease. Erika is passionate about furthering her education to provide evidence-based practice to all her patients. She is a Certified Stroke Rehabilitation Specialist and a Certified LSVT BIG Clinician. Recently, she became a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Neurologic Physical Therapy.

Brianna holds a Bachelor’s in Science from Pennsylvania State University and a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Moravian University. She is passionate about fostering a nurturing environment for her patients and strives to be an addition to the familial atmosphere within St. Luke’s clinic. Due to her background in high school and collegiate sports, Brianna understands the athlete’s mindset and takes a keen interest in working with highly motivated athletic individuals. Her enjoyable rehabilitation methods stem from her ability to connect with her patients on a personal level. Beyond young athletes, Brianna extends her interests to active individuals of all ages who come into the clinic highly motivated to return to their prior level of function. She firmly believes in coupling manual therapy with movement to empower patients to achieve their full potential. Looking ahead, Brianna aspires to obtain an orthopedic specialist certification, furthering her commitment to excellence in patient care. In her leisure time, she finds joy in family time, staying active through exercise, indulging her passion for basketball through coaching and playing, and reading.

As a lifelong athlete who participated in multiple sports, Kylie developed an early interest in orthopedic injuries and working with athletes to return to optimal performance. She received her Bachelor’s of Science in Health Sciences and her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from University of the Sciences in Philadelphia, PA. Kylie was a resident through the St. Luke’s Orthopedic Physical Therapy Residency Program and is a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy. She is passionate about helping athletes return to sport, specifically overhead and throwing athletes. She believes in a hands-on and active, individualized treatment philosophy to improve each patient’s function to achieve their goals.

Shami enjoys working with all individuals, being able to help them return to meaningful activities and has an interest in treating hand and upper extremity injuries. She is a proud Rutgers University alumni having received her Bachelor’s degree in Public Health and Psychology and her Master’s degree in Health Administration. Shami has always had a passion for education and learning how to further improve her knowledge and help others along the way. She also completed her master’s degree from Salus University (now known as Drexel University) with a Master’s of Science in Occupational Therapy degree. She strives to create a warm and safe environment for each patient to help facilitate a collaborative relationship to achieve the best outcomes.

Certified Lymphedema Therapist

Cancer and lymphedema diagnoses hold a special place in Alaina’s heart. Her mom was diagnosed with cancer at the beginning of PT school. Her diagnosis led her to seek a clinic experience at Fox Chase Cancer Center where she was able to see continuum of care and how physical therapy could benefit patients throughout their course of treatment.  It is extremely important that activity and quality of life are maintained along with a cancer diagnosis and subsequent treatment. Alaina received her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Bloomsburg University and continued to Temple University where she received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. She is a Certified Edema Specialist and Certified Lymphedema Therapist. Additionally, she is a Vestibular Certified Therapist. Aside from cancer care, Alaina has spent most of her career treating a variety of orthopedic conditions in the outpatient setting. She focuses on using manual therapy to address myofascial impairments and exercise to re-educate and strengthen the tissues. Alaina believes in working towards goals that are patient driven and help patients to maximize their quality of life.

Renee has a passion for working in the orthopedic outpatient setting and has a wide range of experience working with patients with general orthopedic conditions, pre and post operation total knee replacement and total hip replacement surgical patients, various shoulder injuries, as well as various musculoskeletal injuries. Renee graduated from Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science. She then went on to Widener University to earn her clinical Doctor of Physical Therapy degree and her certificate in Health and Medical Services Administration. Renee enjoys mentoring new clinicians and students and holds her APTA Clinical Instructor certification.  Renee’s treatment philosophy includes patients having an active role in their rehabilitation process as compared to being passive recipients. Renee enjoys being active with her family, including biking and hiking, when she is not working with her patients.

Licensed & Certified Athletic Trainer

Wattanai received his Bachelor of Science degree in Health Sciences from the University of Pittsburgh. He then went on to receive both his Master of Athletic Training and Doctor of Physical Therapy degrees from Moravian University. He previously worked as a strength and conditioning coach where he developed a love for pushing his athletes to refine their movements, develop strength, and reduce their risk of injury. This has translated into his treatment philosophy where he aims to empower his patients with the ability to better understand and control their bodies. Wattanai is currently in St. Luke’s Orthopedic residency program and working toward becoming an orthopedic and sports clinical specialist. In his free time, Wattanai enjoys bodybuilding, eating, and singing.

Georgia received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Quinnipiac University. She has inpatient experience working in skilled nursing facilities and acute rehabilitation units. She helped develop a comprehensive amputee program, with implementation of a prosthetic training program, in an inpatient setting. Georgia specializes in treatment of amputees, stroke, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, and other neurological diagnoses. She is currently working toward a specialization in vestibular therapy. She believes in incorporating tasks that are meaningful to the patient in order to maximize their function and meet their individual needs. Georgia is a member of the APTA and utilizes current evidence-based research to optimize patient outcomes. She is a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Neurologic Physical Therapy and is also LSVT certified and Rocksteady Boxing certified, which are both programs for people with Parkinson’s disease.

Certified Pelvic Health Physical Therapist

Vanessa (she/her) graduated from Rutgers University with a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and returned to obtain her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. She received her advanced certification in pelvic health to further expand her ability to treat pelvic health-related conditions experienced by all individuals. Vanessa has prepared and delivered presentations to rehabilitation departments as a student PT regarding transgender patient care and gender inclusivity in healthcare. Vanessa’s practice also focuses on orthopedics and sports related conditions which dates back to her career playing Big 10 women’s rugby at Rutgers University. She prioritizes a treatment method that integrates the best available evidence with each patient’s values. She understands how intimidating asking for and receiving care can be and strives to create an environment where patients can discuss their goals and concerns without judgment. Vanessa is fluent in Spanish, loves trying new recipes, going to concerts, and walking dogs in her free time.

Ivanna enjoys working with a variety of patients across the lifespan and holds clinical interests in Pelvic floor and Orthopedics. She has a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Shenandoah University. Ivanna is currently working towards a pelvic floor certification through Herman and Wallace to further improve her knowledge and skill to better treat her patients. She strives to create a safe space for each patient to discuss their concerns and feels privileged to be part of every patient’s recovery team. Ivanna believes in a patient centered approach with emphasis on individualized treatment plans and patient education to assist patients in meeting their goals. In her free time, she enjoys hiking with her dogs, spending time with her family, and traveling.

Nick received his Bachelor’s Degree in Health Science and Master’s of Occupational Therapy degree from Quinnipiac University. He began his profession specializing in orthopedic injuries and orthosis fabrication with focus on hand therapy.  He gained experience working with the pediatric population working at a children’s hospital, where he worked with a wide variety of cases. He enjoys working with all populations including neurological rehab for stroke, brain injury, and Parkinson’s as well as orthopedic hand injuries. He has a special interest in orthosis fabrication for the hand and upper extremity. Outside of work, Nick enjoys many outdoor activities, including biking, skiing, and hiking with his family.

Tyler earned his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Rutgers University before going on to complete his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Arcadia University. With a patient-centered approach, Tyler is committed to delivering personalized care through a combination of therapeutic interventions and manual techniques tailored to meet the unique needs and goals of each individual. He is particularly passionate about helping athletes return to peak performance and guiding patients through recovery following total joint replacements. Tyler takes great pride in working with individuals across all age groups, offering compassionate care that fosters both healing and long-term well-being. Outside of his professional work, he is an avid sports enthusiast and enjoys staying active through running and strength training, as well as indulging in his love for movies and games of all kinds.

With a background in dance, Macy understands the importance of listening to your body. She enjoys working with the orthopedic population and has a special interest in treating performing arts athletes. She received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Moravian University in Bethlehem, PA. Macy believes that your time in physical therapy should be fun and salient to your personal goals. She listens to her patient’s specific needs and provides a hands-on, individualized approach to promote their independence.

Julia is a dynamic Speech-Language Pathologist with a background in providing compassionate and effective care to children and adults facing speech, language, and swallowing disorders. She received her Bachelor of Science in Health Science and a Master’s of Science in Speech-Language Pathology degree from Misericordia University. Julia currently holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Julia has experience with both in-person and virtual therapy services. Julia’s approach is characterized by a client-centered philosophy and fostering collaborative relationships with clients and their families to tailor interventions that address specific needs and goals. Julia’s passion for her work, coupled with ongoing professional development and active engagement in the field, allows her to be a dedicated and skilled professional in the realm of speech-language pathology.

Allison believes in providing patients with both hands-on manual treatments, as well as individualized therapeutic interventions to help attain the patient’s goals. Allison values getting to know every patient to obtain the highest possible functional outcome. Ally received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at DeSales University in Center Valley, PA. She completed her Bachelor’s of Exercise Science at East Stroudsburg University.  While at East Stroudsburg University, Ally played Division II field hockey. She recently obtained her Certification in Manual and Neurodynamic Therapy and is working towards her certification through the McKenzie Institute to specialize in movement-based classification. She currently runs the total joint replacement gym program, striving to help patients return to higher level activities, work, and everyday function. Ally works to help patients understand their condition, recover function, and work towards achieving their goals. In her free time, she likes to spend time playing with her puppy Slinky, hiking, and snowboarding.

Lara’s passion for fitness began when she earned her Master of Fitness certification in the Army. She graduated from the United States Military Academy with a BS in English Literature and a minor in Systems Engineering, received her MBA from the University of Central Arkansas, and her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Rutgers University. She enjoys working with people of all genders and in both orthopedic and pelvic floor physical therapy in order to help them understand how exercise-based therapy can help them lead their best lives. Lara has additional certification as a Certified Manual and Neurodynamic Therapist, Certified Pregnancy and Postpartum Exercise Specialist as well as Pilates Mat and Reformer certifications through Balanced Body. Lara is the mother of three daughters and enjoys spending her free time hiking and paddle boarding.

Amanda received her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science at Rutgers University and her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the Rutgers School of Health Professions. While pursuing her graduate degree, Amanda traveled to the Dominican Republic to provide pro bono physical therapy services to local community members and served on the board of her school’s pro bono physical therapy clinic. Amanda focuses on treating patients with neurological disorders including vestibular deficits, balance problems, stroke, and Parkinson’s disease. She believes in a patient-centered treatment approach in which her patient’s goals, interests, and needs are at the forefront of care while using current evidence-based practice to support her interventions. Amanda is a Certified LSVT BIG Clinician and hopes to obtain a specialization in vestibular disorders.

Lauren has a passion for working with a variety of individuals across the lifespan and holds clinical interests in treating hand and upper extremities injuries and is currently enrolled in The Virtual Hand and Shoulder Fellowship to further her education toward becoming a Board-Certified Hand Therapist in Orthopedics. She graduated from Stockton University with a bachelor’s degree in Health Science and received her Master’s of Science in Occupational Therapy degree from Seton Hall University. Lauren strives to provide a client centered and therapeutic safe space for each patient to discuss their concerns and feels privileged to be part of every patient’s interdisciplinary team.

An important early life experience for Mike was witnessing the sometimes-sudden health changes impacting his family. Mike learned at an early age that most struggles were overcome when determination was coupled with patience and understanding. This outlook, combined with a passion for neuroscience and a bit of humor are key ingredients in Mike’s treatment approach. Mike holds a Master’s of Science in Speech-Language Pathology degree from Adelphi University and a Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA). He is Vital Stim Certified, SPEAK OUT! Certified, and a Certified LSVT BIG Clinician. He specializes in adult neuro rehab with emphasis in the areas of stroke, traumatic brain injury, Parkinson’s, dementia, concussion, cognitive impairment, swallowing and voice disorders. Alongside direct patient care, Mike enjoys mentoring staff and supervising graduate students. When not at work, he enjoys biking, reading and building unique projects using stone and wood.

Francesca has a passion for working with a variety of neurological diagnoses, such as cardiovascular accidents, Parkinson’s, concussion, multiple sclerosis, Guillain-Barre syndrome, limb loss, vestibular impairments, balance and gait impairments and spinal cord injuries. She received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Pittsburgh and a Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Wilkes University. Francesca focuses on an evidence-based and patient-centered treatment approach to maximize her patients’ potential to improve their overall quality of life. In the future, she hopes to obtain a Neurologic Specialist Certification, LSVT BIG and Rock Steady Boxing Certification to further advance her education. Francesca was originally born in Buenos Aires, Argentina and speaks fluent Spanish. During her free time, Francesca enjoys coaching and playing tennis, painting, hiking, and spending time with her family.

Ariselle gravitated towards neurological physical therapy early in her academic career and acquired a passion for it after her clinical experiences. Ariselle received her Bachelor’s Degree in Health & Exercise Science from The College of New Jersey and her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Rutgers University. She focuses on treating patients with neurological disorders such as Parkinson’s Disease, balance problems, post-stroke, and vestibular deficits. She has a patient-centered, evidence-based treatment approach and strives to select effective individualized treatment strategies to maximize her patient’s potential in achieving their goals. Ariselle speaks fluent Spanish and enjoys painting, spending time with her family, friends, and dog in her free time.

She has a special interest in treating individuals with stroke and Parkinson’s Disease and is in the process of obtaining certifications in LSVT and Rock Steady Boxing. Outside of work, Jenn enjoys running, hiking, crocheting, and spending time with family and friends.

Erin received her Bachelor’s Degree in Health Science and Master’s of Science in Occupational Therapy degree from Alvernia University. She began her profession inpatient rehabilitation with her focus in the neurological population as well as multi-trauma. She was a key member of the Upper Extremity Task Force for the Stroke population and head of the Cancer Rehabilitation Program at her inpatient rehabilitation facility before joining the Hillcrest Balance Center Team. Her passion is working with the neurological population including stroke, concussion, brain injury, Parkinson’s, MS and other neurological diagnosis. She is a Certified Stroke Rehabilitation Specialist, LSVT BIG Clinician, and Rocksteady Boxing Certified. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with friends and family and being active. In the summer, you will probably find her paddle boarding.

Molly graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor’s of Science in Physical Therapy and then earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Arcadia University. She served as a physical therapist in the U.S. Army Medical Specialist Corps from 1992 to 1996. She has specialized in vestibular therapy since 2003 and has focused on vestibular and concussion patients at the St. Luke’s Warren Balance and Concussion Centers since they opened in 2005 and 2011, respectively. Molly enjoys fitness classes and volunteers in the community teaching a fitness class.

Katie has been fortunate to treat a very wide array of patients ranging from infancy to elderhood and diagnoses of orthopedic and neurologic background. She has been a practicing Physical Therapist since 2012 upon graduating with special recognition from University of Hartford with her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. Through continuing education and strong patient outcomes, Katie’s practice has been finely tuned toward orthopedic issues more specifically low back and neck pain. Katie has gone on to achieve her Diploma in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy, an accomplishment only several hundred therapists have ever accomplished internationally. Katie is a faculty member through the St Luke’s University Health Network Orthopedic Residency as well as the Spine Fellowship. Katie has also been awarded Fellowship via the Academy of Spine Physical Therapy in 2022. Katie, as an Advanced Spine Care Practitioner, works closely with her patients to understand their pain, and the specific effect it has on their lives and functionality, working toward goals tailored to that patient exclusively. Katie emphasizes independence and prevention, in a goal that patients will not have to seek out care for the same injury twice. When not working or educating, she loves spending time outdoors with her family, including her beautiful daughter and incredible husband.

Danielle received her Bachelor’s of Science in Exercise Science and her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Scranton. During her time at Scranton, she minored in coaching and psychology, and was a student athlete with the women’s soccer team. As an avid soccer player and collegiate coach, she has implemented injury prevention and conditioning protocols to optimize athlete performance at multiple universities. Danielle is a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy and a Certified Blood Flow Restriction Therapist (BFR). She has established multiple ongoing Persistent Pain Groups at her clinic and is currently undergoing course work to become a Therapeutic Pain Specialist. She believes in working to maximize her patients’ outcomes by using an individualized and evidence-based approach to treatment. She strives to help her patients understand their functional limitations better and regain their independence through education and exercise.
