Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy

Rick, a Lehigh Valley native, is a two-time Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy who completed his graduate research in the biomechanics/rehabilitation of an ACL injury while obtaining his Master’s of Science in Physical Therapy degree at Ithaca College. He has taken continuing education courses in the treatment of the adolescent athlete, the advanced treatment of low back pain, and the use of manual therapy techniques. Rick specializes in the treatment of the post-surgical patient, as well as the rehabilitation of athletes, with a strong focus on patient education. Rick’s belief is that the better understanding a patient has about their condition, the more successful their rehabilitation will be. In his spare time Rick enjoys spending time with his family and playing pickleball.

Rachel completed both her undergraduate and graduate coursework at Lebanon Valley College, obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. Rachel is also a graduate of Upstream Rehab Institute’s Orthopedic Physical Therapy Residency. She believes in a holistic approach to physical therapy treatment, utilizing both manual skills and orthopedic techniques to fully address patient needs and concerns. Outside of work, Rachel enjoys staying active outside, cooking/baking, and spending time with her family and dog.

After graduating from Shippensburg University with a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Joe earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from DeSales University. Joe is also a graduate of St. Luke’s Orthopedic Physical Therapy Residency and is a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy. Born and raised in the Lehigh Valley, Joe believes in using manual therapy to maximize movement and function. His treatment philosophy has a large emphasis on giving patients the tools they need to help themselves recover from injury through education and exercise instruction. In his spare time, Joe enjoys playing golf and going to hockey games with his friends and family.

Certified Lymphedema Therapist

Jeff is a graduate of Misericordia University where he completed his Master’s of Science in Physical Therapy degree while also competing in NCAA men’s lacrosse, earning all-conference academic honors. He is a Certified Lymphedema Therapist. He is an APTA Credentialed clinical instructor, has served as an adjunct educator, and contributed to several academic advisory boards as he views education of students as an integral development to the profession. Jeff’s treatment philosophy includes manual based patient centric care with an individualized approach that addresses each patient’s specific needs and goals.

Certified Orthopedic Physical Therapy Assistant

Emily graduated in May 2014 from Lehigh Carbon Community College with her Associates in Applied Science and received her license as a Physical Therapist Assistant in July 2014. She completed St. Luke’s Certified Orthopedic Physical Therapist Assistant program in November 2022 which focuses on advancing hands-on skills and current evidence-based research for optimizing patient outcomes. Emily maintains an active membership in the American Physical Therapy Association to stay up to date on evolving research in the field of physical therapy. She feels strongly in developing and maintaining patient rapport and utilizing effective communication skills between each therapist to support patients in reaching their desired treatment goals.

Dylan obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Arcadia University. He combines manual therapy with muscle lengthening techniques and incorporates individualized exercise programs to assist patients in achieving their rehabilitation goals and reaching maximum function. Dylan is also trained in Vestibular Rehab. In his spare time, Dylan enjoys recreational sporting activities that include basketball and golf.

Jared graduated from Pensacola Christian College with a Bachelor’s degree in General Sciences with an emphasis in Pre-Physical therapy. He then earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Messiah University. Jared believes in incorporating values, evidenced-based practice, and collaboration to accomplish the best outcomes for his patients. Jared played college basketball and still enjoys athletics such as golf and volleyball. He also loves spending time with friends and family.
