Karen has a passion for working with patients throughout their lifetime to encourage and promote wellness and fitness. She believes “Prevention is the best medicine” and encourages her patients to take an active role in both their recovery and wellness goals. She graduated from the University of Scranton with a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, along with a Minor in Coaching and Concentration in Nutrition. She obtained her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Scranton, while serving as Assistant Coach of the Men’s and Women’s Swim Teams. She has taken additional coursework in Therapeutic Neuroscience Education (Pain Science). Her treatment philosophy includes a combination of manual therapy and exercise, the patient and physical therapist working together to implement a home exercise program, and encouraging sleep, meditation/breathing, and proper nutrition into patients’ treatment cycle. In her free time, Karen enjoys spending time outdoors, hosting friend and family gatherings, and cooking/baking.

Linda received her Associate of Applied Science in Physical Therapist Assistant degree from Pennsylvania State University, Hazleton campus. She has experience in pediatrics, geriatrics, neurology and wound care. She has worked in numerous rehabilitative settings, including acute care, sub-acute care, short- and long-term rehabilitation and sports medicine. Linda finds physical therapy very rewarding, sharing in her patient’s accomplishments. In her free time, Linda enjoys being outdoors and spending time with her family.

Jared received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Ithaca College. Upon graduation, he completed a one-year orthopedic residency at Cayuga Medical Center and is currently undergoing fellowship training in orthopedic manual therapy through Bellin College. He is a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy, as well as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. He has participated in athletics throughout his life, playing football throughout college, and this experience set the framework for his interest in the ability of movement and physical activity to improve pain and function. He has a passion for continued education and teaching/developing future clinicians to provide high quality care. Outside of the clinic, he enjoys weightlifting and spending time with his wife, family, and friends.

Certified McKenzie Method® of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy®

Debbie has worked in a variety of settings over the years but finds that the outpatient setting is the place where she can best assist her patients to achieve their physical therapy goals. Debbie holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Physical Therapy degree from the University of Buffalo. She became a Certified McKenzie Method® of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy® of the Spine Therapist through the McKenzie Institute. She is also a Certified Graston Technique Specialist as well as a Certified KinesioTape Practitioner, which both offer alternative interventions to help her patients achieve better outcomes. Her free time is spent with her family, working outdoors and spending as much time at the beach as possible.

Certified Hand Therapist

Karen has a passion for working with patients with various upper extremity impairments and dysfunction. She graduated from San Jose State University in 1988 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Occupational Therapy degree. After graduation, she achieved her Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential in 1993 and has been exclusively treating impairments and functional limitations of the upper extremity. Karen believes in encouraging her patients to maintain a positive and optimistic outlook all while implementing an individualized treatment approach with hands on interventions. Karen has a particular interest in treating trauma of the upper extremity and custom splint fabrication to maximize function. Outside of work, Karen enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, hiking, and bicycling.

Certified Orthopedic Physical Therapy Assistant

Alyssa earned her Associates degree in Early Childhood Education from Warren County Community College and worked as a lead toddler teacher for six years. After acquiring an interest in physical therapy, she attended Lehigh Carbon Community College where she earned her Associate of Applied Science in Physical Therapist Assistant degree. In 2021, Alyssa received a specialty certification in orthopedics through Physical Therapy at St. Luke’s. She now assists in mentoring in the Orthopedic PTA Certification program. Alyssa enjoys treating patients across the lifespan with a particular interest in orthopedics, athletes, and those recovering from surgery. In her free time, Alyssa enjoys playing slow-pitch softball, weightlifting, attending Dodger baseball games, and helping her family on the farm.

Jacob’s drive originates from his extensive athletic background at the high school and collegiate level with experiences in football, basketball, baseball, tennis, track, and swimming. As a result, he developed a deep love for athletics while experiencing the challenges of recovering from sports-related injuries. This fueled his passion for assisting athletes in returning to peak performance levels on and off the field. Jacob received a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Sciences from Moravian College and a Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree from Moravian University. His clinical focus includes return to sport, manual therapy, hand therapy, concussion rehabilitation, and running/gait analysis. He plans to pursue board certifications in orthopedics and sports in the near future. Beyond the clinic, Jacob finds fulfillment in spending time with loved ones, honing his carpentry skills, and indulging in video games.

Angela received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from University of North Florida. During her schooling, she discovered the field of pelvic floor physical therapy and soon developed a passion for women’s health. She went on to specialize in pelvic floor therapy, receiving certifications from Brooks and Herman & Wallace: Pelvic I, Pelvic II, Pregnancy rehabilitation, Pregnancy and Postpartum Rehab for High Intensity Athletes. She continues her passion for women’s health by spreading the notion that athleticism does not end when motherhood begins. Angela believes health and wellness should be centered around the whole person- mind, body, and spirit. She strives to inspire her patients to believe in themselves and their body’s capabilities. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, gardening, and hanging with her pets.

As a father and former competitive athlete, Greg understands the importance of maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle to enjoy hobbies and passions.  Greg as a particular interest in the overhead athlete and dysfunctions of the lower extremity. He received both his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Marketing and Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Misericordia University. After graduation, Greg completed his residency training in Orthopedic Physical Therapy at St. Luke’s University Health Network. Greg has published research on shoulder treatment and is an adjunct instructor for the Orthopedic Physical Therapy Residency at St. Luke’s University Health Network. Greg is a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy and believes in an individualized hands-on approach with an emphasis on education and prevention. Outside of work, Greg enjoys spending time with his family and being outdoors.

Certified Hand Therapist

Rupal enjoys working with a variety of patients with upper extremity injuries, ranging from young children to adults. She holds clinical interests in fabricating custom orthotics, treating arthritic conditions and orthopedic injuries, and providing post-surgical care. She is a Certified Hand Therapist with over 15 years of experience. She obtained her Master’s of Science in Occupational Therapy degree from Washington University in St. Louis and a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from Marquette University. Rupal is dedicated to using evidence-based practice to provide patient centered care.

Drew graduated from Kean University with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology. He then earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy from DeSales University. Drew chose PT as a career because he was a patient after injuring his back playing baseball in high school. Drew believes in looking at a patient in their entirety and recognizes that health and wellness involves not only physical aspects, but also mental. He believes each patient should receive an individualized treatment plan to fit their unique needs. Outside of work, Drew likes to spend time with family and friends, compete in disc golf, and recreationally runs.

Sara graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Biobehavioral Health and a minor in Kinesiology. She then earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from DeSales University. Sara believes in a patient centered approach to physical therapy, making sure to always value the patients’ time, goals, and expectations. Outside of work, she enjoys participating in recreational and organized sports, hiking, and being outside.
