As a father of two and certified speech-language pathologist, Mark has a passion for pediatric development and parental education. Mark received his Doctorate of Health Sciences in Advanced Research and Administration and Master’s of Science in Speech-Language Pathology degree, with a concentration in Gerontology, at East Stroudsburg University. Mark has been trained and certified in many aspects of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), early language learning, and underlying cognitive deficits impacting speech and language skills. He believes that a team-based approach is the most effective way to facilitate progress and carryover of skills into activities of daily living. Mark has completed research on the effect of caregiver carryover on speech sound disorders and would like to continue this research into other aspects of speech and language pathology.

Certified Lactation Counselor

Erika received her Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from The Pennsylvania State University and her Master’s of Science in Speech-Language Pathology degree from Salus University. Erika has experience working with adults in the outpatient neurological rehab setting; however, primarily treats the pediatric population. Erika has experience treating and evaluating pediatric patients with a variety of diagnoses. She specializes in infant feeding and evaluates and treats breastfed and bottle-fed infants. She is certified in Supporting Oral Feeding in Fragile Infants (SOFFI Method), Neonatal-Oral Motor Assessment Scale (NOMAS), and is a Certified Lactation Counselor. Erika believes in providing a team-based approach to therapy while individualizing the patient’s specific needs. She enjoys working with patients of all ages and creating a great patient clinician rapport. Erika has lived in the Lehigh Valley for majority of her life. She loves to travel and spend time with family and friends.

Courtney strives to afford an enriching life experience through empowering children’s movement abilities. Courtney received her bachelor’s degree in Health Science from Quinnipiac University, before continuing to receive her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Drexel University. Courtney’s love for family-centered care and innovation drives successful outcomes. She received intensive mentorship as a pediatric resident through Good Shephard and Drexel University’s residency program. She has diverse clinical experience, in which she concurrently works in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and Pediatric Inpatient Rehabilitation.

Nicole graduated from DeSales University with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology. She went on to receive her Master’s of Science in Occupational Therapy degree from Towson University.  Nicole enjoys working with the pediatric population and implements hands-on, play-based interventions in treatment. Nicole also has experience in early intervention and believes in treatment strategies that can be carried over to the home environment. During her Master’s work, Nicole helped to develop and participate in a program for students with low vision to improve their class experiences.

Throughout her time in occupational therapy school, Erin found two strong interests: hand therapy and pediatric therapy. Erin has been working with children since she was in high school, whether it is at a daycare or summer camp, working with children has always been a passion. Erin discovered her interest in hand therapy through her level 2 fieldwork experience at St Luke’s North. She is excited that St Luke’s is giving her the opportunity to pursue both. She graduated from West Chester University with a Bachelor of Science degree in both Psychology and Exercise Science. She then went on to receive her Master’s of Science in Occupational Therapy degree at Salus University. Erin is excited to work with both adults and children to improve overall quality of life.

Stephanie received her Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology at Rowan University. She received her Master’s of Science in Occupational Therapy degree with a concentration in Child Welfare at College Misericordia. She is a Certified Sequential Oral Sensory Feeding Approach (SOS Approach) for treating children with feeding difficulties. Stephanie is also a Certified Interactive Metronome Treatment Specialist which is used to help children improve motor planning, timing, sequencing, and coordination limitations. Stephanie believes a multi-disciplinary team approach to treating children with developmental delays and special needs is the most effective for helping them reach their full potential.

As a mother of two boys, Erin understands and appreciates the importance of compassion and support to our children in the community. She acknowledges the benefits of allowing our children to thrive in their environment at an early age while simultaneously supporting the parents working through challenging times raising children.  She graduated from Misericordia University with a Bachelor’s in Health Science and a Master’s of Science in Physical Therapy degree. She furthered her education at Shenandoah University to earn her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. She continues to work toward educating families on important topics in pediatric physical therapy and became a certified car seat technician in 2017 as well as certified in Interactive Metronome. As a former swim lesson instructor and collegiate athlete, Erin had an early passion for leading a healthy, active lifestyle and encouraging children to be active in their environments at a young age. Her drive to encourage health and wellness in the community, led her to becoming a physical therapist with an emphasis in the pediatric population. Her passion for functional play-based therapy, drive her treatment approaches to include involving family and siblings to engage patients and allow them to reach their maximum potential.  In her free time, she loves spending time for her 2 children and husband, who also shares a passion for physical therapy, in which they met in graduate school. Spending time with friends and family, camping, and trips to the beach are few of the many activities she enjoys outside of the workplace.

Heather has a passion with working with the pediatric population and creating a fun-lively environment to motivate children to succeed in their goals. Heather graduated from East Stroudsburg University with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology, and received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Neumann University. She utilizes purposeful play, as well as encouraging families to be active participants in their physical therapy treatment to achieve the best outcomes. Prior to the pediatric setting, she had worked in outpatient orthopedics with adults where she became a Certified Manual and Neurodynamic Therapist. Heather enjoys spending her free time outside hiking, running, gardening, and going to the beach.

Mallory enjoys the creativity and fast pace of working with the pediatric population, choosing to work in this setting following a student externship at the North outpatient location. She graduated with both her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Speech–Language Pathology from East Stroudsburg University.  She is nationally certified through the American Speech–Language–Hearing Association (ASHA) and holds a license in the state of PA. She has completed courses related to articulation, language development, and behavior management, including level 1 of PROMPT. She enjoys treating a variety of speech and language communication deficits in the pediatric population using semi structured and play based activities to reach therapeutic and family goals.

Jennifer received her Bachelor’s of Science in Speech Pathology degree and Audiology at Bloomsburg University. She completed the Speech-Language Pathology graduate program and received her Master’s Degree at the University of Pittsburgh. Jennifer has always had a passion for helping others communicate, and she enjoys working with patients of all ages.

Davianny received her Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders and her Master’s of Science in Speech-Language Pathology degree from East Stroudsburg University where she developed a strong foundation in speech and language therapy. Davianny is a bilingual Spanish-speaking Speech-Language Pathologist, dedicated to helping individuals improve their communication skills. She has experience working with a variety of ages from toddlers to adults; however primarily treats a variety of diagnoses in the pediatric population. With a holistic approach to care, Davianny emphasizes the importance of understanding each patient’s unique needs, culture, and lifestyle to provide personalized, effective treatment. When not at work, she loves to travel and spend time outdoors with friends and family.

Certified Lactation Consultant

Jessica has a passion for working with children needing speech, language, and feeding therapy.  Jessica especially enjoys working with infants and their parents/caregivers to support their breastfeeding and bottle-feeding needs. She received her Bachelor’s degree and Master’s of Science in Speech-Language Pathology degree from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania. She is a Certified Sequential Oral Sensory Feeding Approach (SOS Approach), Supporting Oral Feeding in Fragile Infants (SOFFI Method), and is a Certified Lactation Consultant. She believes in a collaborative approach with the patient, their family, and other medical professionals to help her patients and their families meet and exceed their goals. Jessica holds interest in continuing to develop and expand our infant bottle and breastfeeding program and provide a necessary and important service for the families in our community.

Courtney has always had an interest in the power of communication. During her undergraduate studies, Courtney had her own “Athletic Spotlight” column, in which she interviewed coaches, trainers, and student-athletes in order to help discover their personal story on why they started. This passion has prompted her to pursue a career in which she can help individuals find their voice and refine it.  She graduated from Iona University with a Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology, and received her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology degree from Misericordia University. Courtney started her career in early intervention, in which she worked with children from ages 0-3 with communication and feeding difficulties. Since starting with St. Luke’s, she has completed additional trainings including the SOS (Sequential Oral Sensory) Feeding Approach to help children with feeding disorders as well as the Meaningful Speech course for gestalt language processing and Natural Language Acquisition (NLA). Courtney is a trained clinician who understands how to work with children who communicate with delayed echolalia (scripting).  She has completed the Language Acquisition through Motor Planning (LAMP) course to aid AAC users with communication as well as PROMPT (Restructuring Oral Muscular Phonetic Targets) training to assist children with speech-sound and motor planning disorders. Courtney wants to continue to grow in her feeding training as well as continue to implement a multimodal approach to communication, through verbal language, sign language, and alternative-augmentative communication (AAC) devices.

Jennifer graduated from West Virginia University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Performance and Health. She then graduated from WVU School of Medicine with her Master’s of Occupational Therapy degree. Jennifer received her Sensory Integration Certification through University of Southern California and Western Psychological Services and went on to receive further training to obtain her USC certificate in Sensory Integration. She is also a Certified Interactive Metronome Treatment Specialist. Jennifer is trained in working with children who have a variety of visual processing and eye movement deficits impacting learning, play, and self-help skill development. Jennifer believes that providing each child with a multi-sensory environment with fun, play-based intervention is pertinent towards improving function in activities of daily living and for each child to live their life to the fullest.

Brooke received her Bachelor’s of Science in Health Science degree and Master’s of Science in Speech-Language Pathology degree from Misericordia University. She has vast pediatric clinical experience in various settings including outpatient rehabilitation, schools, and early intervention. While at Misericordia, she conducted and presented research regarding computer-based cadaveric dissection and assisted in the publication of three textbooks: An Advanced Review of Speech-Language Pathology: Preparation for the SLP Praxis and Comprehensive Examinations, Fundamentals of Anatomy & Physiology of Speech, Language, and Hearing, and Logemann’s Evaluation and Treatment of Swallowing Disorders. As evidenced in her research and clinical practice, Brooke is passionate about being a lifelong learner and she enjoys bringing creativity and evidenced-based ideas into her sessions. She strives to provide a welcoming space for all service providers, patients, and their caregivers to foster rapport and collaboration, as well as promote optimal outcomes. In her free time, Brooke enjoys hiking, attending Zumba, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.

Rachel received her Bachelor’s of Health Science and Master’s of Science in Speech-Language Pathology degree from Misericordia University. She has experience in outpatient adult/pediatric rehab, inpatient pediatric and adult rehab settings, and early intervention. Rachel has previously conducted outpatient pediatric modified barium swallow studies. She specializes in infant feeding and swallowing in addition to pediatric feeding disorders and dysphagia. Rachel holds certifications in the Sequential Oral Sensory Feeding Approach (SOS Approach), Vital Stim, Beckman Oral Motor Protocol, and Supporting Oral Feeding in Fragile Infants (SOFFI Method). Rachel highly values a collaborative team approach with other disciplines and medical providers to ensure optimal outcomes. Rachel believes that family-centered treatment strategies are the key to seeing patients succeed. Rachel enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and traveling.

Kirsten is a pediatric speech-language pathologist who specializes in treating individuals with Autism Spectrum & related disorders, motor speech disorders, and early language delays/disorders. As a speech therapist, Kirsten evaluates, diagnoses and treats patients with communication and swallowing troubles. These conditions may be due to developmental delay, brain injury, hearing loss, autism, stroke or other diseases and injuries. Kirsten enjoys helping patients make sounds and improve their communication through various methods. Kirsten received her Master’s of Science in Communication Disorders degree from East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania. She also holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association and is a certified instructor to parents of children with autism spectrum & related communication disorders. Kirsten is passionate about taking a family-centered approach to therapy and helping caregivers strengthen social-emotional bonds with their children. She believes caregiver training and education are key to fostering communication skills.

Laurie received her Bachelors of Arts degree at SUNY Cortland and her Master of Arts at New York University. She specializes in pediatric speech, language, and feeding disorders. Laurie holds a certification in the Sequential Oral Sensory Feeding Approach (SOS Approach).

Emily earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders at West Chester University and Master’s of Science in Speech-Language Pathology degree at East Stroudsburg University. She is a certified speech-language pathologist with the American Speech and Hearing Association. She enjoys working with children of all ages and believes that working as a team with caregivers and other professionals is vital for making progress in supporting children’s growth and progress across all areas of their lives.

Megan graduated from Temple University in 2014 with a bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology. Megan then attended DeSales University where she received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. Megan is also LSVT BIG certified, which is a program designed to treat the neurologic population, specifically Parkinson’s Disease. She is able to use principles from this certification to help the pediatric population as well. In her free time, Megan enjoys doing cycling classes at her local gym and spending time with her family and friends.

Lauren graduated from Lehigh Carbon Community College with an Associate’s Degree in Applied Science as a Physical Therapist Assistant. In addition to being a PTA, Lauren is also a certified Massage Therapist. Prior to her in the pediatric setting, she has worked in both adult orthopedic rehabilitation as well as pediatric inpatient rehabilitation. Lauren has a passion for working in the pediatric setting and especially enjoys treating athletes who are working to return to their respective sports. Lauren enjoys leading an active lifestyle including running, taking part in cycle classes, teaching Zumba, and watching her kids playing numerous sports. She currently resides in Allentown with her husband and three children.

Laura graduated from the University of Delaware with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Sciences and received her Master’s of Science in Occupational Therapy degree from Thomas Jefferson University. She has received mentorship and experience in clinical fieldwork settings including schools and outpatient, and also has a strong medical background from working in a hospital. Laura believes in using a client-centered, wholistic, and hands-on approach to treatment in order to provide optimal care to patients and families. Laura completed her final graduate research project on occupational therapy’s role and value in treating children experiencing chronic pain and presented this evidence at the POTA (Pennsylvania Occupational Therapy Association) conference in 2020.

Jessica is passionate about providing affirming, evidence-based care to children of all abilities and backgrounds and their families. She earned her Master’s of Science in Occupational Therapy degree and a Bachelor’s of Science in Health Science with a minor in Psychology from The University of Scranton in Scranton, PA. Jessica has advanced trainings in sensory processing, interoception awareness, reflex integration, vision, play, executive functioning, and chronic pain techniques. She is also certified in the SOS approach to feeding. She strives to make each session unique and fun for her clients while helping them to regain or develop new skills needed to participate in occupations that are meaningful to them.

Clinical Audiologist

Elizabeth enjoys helping individuals overcome obstacles related to hearing disorders so they can reach their full potential. Her dedication to working with individuals with hearing impairment began many years ago when, as an undergraduate student, she worked in a childcare center with children that had speech and language delays. Elizabeth graduated from the State University of New York at Buffalo with a Master of Arts Degree in Audiology. She then earned her Doctor of Audiology degree from A.T. Still University of Health Sciences. She is a licensed audiologist in the state of Pennsylvania.  Her clinical interests include auditory processing disorders, comprehensive hearing testing and aural rehabilitation. When Elizabeth is not working, she enjoys hiking, spending time with her family and playing with her Havanese dog, Daisy.

Ally has a passion for working with adults and children with hearing difficulties and balance disorders. She holds a Doctorate of Audiology degree and a Bachelor degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania. She also has a Minor in Linguistics and Special Education. She has obtained her Certification of Clinical Competency through the American-Speech-Language-Hearing Association. She enjoys assisting her patients in communicating with their families more effectively through the use of amplification and communication strategies. Ally enjoys working with patients of all ages and strives to make their experience in our office positive and informative.

Clinical Coordinator of Audiology

Brittany has a passion for working with kids and adults with hearing impairment. Challenges for these patients can go beyond just difficulties with hearing. Children can struggle to reach their full potential and the quality of life for kids and adults can be significantly affected. What drives her is being able to help restore confidence and happiness in all of her patients. Brittany graduated from Bloomsburg University with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology and received her Doctorate of Audiology degree from Bloomsburg University. She is a certified and licensed Audiologist in the state of Pennsylvania. Her philosophy is a clinical approach to hearing healthcare that is based on research and centers on assessing the individual needs of patients. In her spare time, she enjoys being outdoors and hiking with their two dogs and owns a local CrossFit gym with her husband.

Kayla has a passion for improving communication between patients and their loved ones. She holds a Doctorate of Audiology degree as well as a Bachelor of Audiology/Speech Pathology with a concentration in Psychology from Bloomsburg University. She also holds a Certification of Clinical Competence through the American Speech Language and Hearing Association. Kayla strives to make every patient feel heard and comfortable, whether it be a mother finding out her newborn baby has a hearing loss or a husband and wife struggling to communicate due to hearing complaints. It is no secret that the idea of being diagnosed with a hearing loss and getting hearing aids can intimidate some patients, but Kayla works to make the process easy and positive for all.

Clinical Audiologist

Jane graduated with her Doctorate of Audiology degree from Salus University. Her clinical philosophy includes believing in the necessity of personalizing each hearing aid fitting to the individual as well as providing best practice research-based care to all of her patients. Jane enjoys all areas of audiology including basic audiometric testing, electrophysiology, and vestibular assessment. During her time outside of clinic, Jane enjoys spending her time with her three children and husband.
