Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Pediatric Physical Therapy

As a parent, Sara knows how important it is to build trust and a good relationship with the families she partners with. Sara has a passion for working with the pediatric population. Sara finds joy in creating creative and fun ways to unlock a child’s full potential. Sara received her undergraduate degree from Moravian College. She earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Columbia University, graduating with academic honors. Sara is the facility director of our pediatric rehabilitation office in Kutztown. Sara is a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Pediatric Physical Therapy. She has specialized in pediatric physical therapy since 2011. Sara is a Dynamic Movement Intervention (DMI) Registered Practitioner. She is a Certified Kinesiotape Practitioner (CKP). She is an APTA Certified Clinical Instructor. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association including the Academy of Pediatric Physical Therapy. Sara specializes in treating children from infancy through adolescence and has experience with a wide variety of pediatric conditions including neurologic, orthopedic, developmental, and pediatric pelvic floor diagnoses.

Tracy graduated from Alvernia College with her Associate of Applied Science in Physical Therapist Assistant degree. She has been a physical therapist assistant for more than 30 years. Tracy started her career in pediatrics then transitioned into an acute rehabilitation hospital setting. She has treated patients with a variety of neurological and orthopedic diagnoses. Realizing pediatrics was her passion, she returned to working with children. Tracy enjoys being able to help children reach their full potential through evidence-based practice and fun dynamic activities. During her free time, Tracy loves to read, go for walks, and spend time with her family.

As the mother of a teenage daughter, Shelley knows both the joys and challenges of raising a child and the importance of enabling a child to reach their fullest potential. Shelley holds a strong interest in working with the pediatric population. Shelley graduated from Thomas Jefferson University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Occupational Therapy degree. Shelley is a Certified Brain Injury Specialist and a Certified Interactive Metronome Treatment Specialist. Shelley holds memberships in both the American Occupational Therapy Association and the Pennsylvania Occupational Therapy Association. Shelley has experience in treating both outpatient pediatric and adult populations. Shelley believes that a multi-disciplinary and family-centered approach to treating children with developmental delays and special needs is a key factor in helping them to achieve and live a fulfilling life. Shelley is excited to be serving the surrounding community in which she grew up.

Brooke has always had a passion for working with children. She has experience working with children who have a wide variety of needs in early intervention and school settings. Brooke has clinical interest in treatment of early communication, phonological processing disorders, and plans to continue her education in the areas of pediatric feeding and myofunctional therapy. Brooke received her Master’s of Science in Speech Language Pathology degree from Bloomsburg University and holds membership in the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association. As a former swim instructor and coach, she believes in approaching therapy as a team and enjoys collaborating with families to help their child reach their fullest potential.
