Jim Thorpe

Kimberly serves as the Facility Director at Jim Thorpe. She graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 2009 with a Bachelor’s in Science and earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Arcadia University. She is happy to be back in the area where she grew up and is grateful to be part of helping her patients recover from injury, restore function, and live life to their fullest. Kim is a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy and is also a Certified Mulligan Practitioner. She is a member of St. Luke’s Comprehensive Spine Program as well. Kim uses an individualized treatment plan active approach combined with hands-on techniques to help patients reduce pain and restore function. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, chasing after her kids’ activities, and of course cheering for “the Irish”.

Travis received his Associate of Applied Science in Physical Therapist Assistant degree from Lehigh Carbon Community College physical therapist assistant program in May 2017. He has experience in treating a vast variety of orthopedic conditions. He is detail oriented and believes in patient-centered care. This allows him to individualize each person’s abilities and needs.

Certified Orthopedic Physical Therapist Assistant

Mary Jean received her Associate of Applied Science in Physical Therapist Assistant degree from The Pennsylvania State University, Hazleton Campus. She believes in providing quality care that addresses each person’s individual needs. Mary Jean has had the opportunity to gain valuable experience working in various Physical Therapy settings throughout her career, such as Acute Care, SNF, Home Health Care, and Outpatient Rehab.

Jen was born and raised in Carbon County and enjoys treating the people in her community. She was a 4-sport athlete in high school and continued her athletic career in college as a volleyball athlete where she spent her fair share of time on the treatment table as the patient. She earned her Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Exercises Science as well as her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Slippery Rock University. She enjoys working with athletes of all levels and the active orthopedic population. Jen utilizes a creative, individualized treatment approach with hands on manual therapy techniques to challenge her patients and return them to an active lifestyle. She is an active member of the Comprehensive Spine Program and is trained to utilize kinesiotape and perform dynamic movement assessments to enhance her treatments. She is always looking for new ways to advance her skills and treatment techniques to better serve her patients.

Rob received his bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Penn State. He received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Scranton. He joined Physical Therapy at St. Luke’s and has been working in our Jim Thorpe office since graduation. Rob believes in a patient centered treatment approach and individualizes each patient’s treatment plan to meet their individual goals. He has experience with treating a vast variety of Orthopedic conditions, with particular attention focused on spinal pathologies and total joint replacements. He has taken a series of continuing education courses for mechanical diagnosis of the lumbar and cervical spine through the McKenzie Institute, to help promote better outcomes for his patients. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter.

Colleen started her employment with St. Luke’s University Health Network with the Physician’s Group. She was employed there for 2 and 1/2 years, and for the past 17 years, she has been a Front Desk Coordinator with Physical Therapy at St. Luke’s at our Jim Thorpe location! She loves working in the department and being able to interact with the patients to provide them with a valuable experience during their recovery process. Outside of work, she enjoys working out, going to the beach, spending time with her granddaughters, and enjoying her new pontoon boat! She likes to keep busy by remaining active and living a healthy lifestyle! She has 2 dogs, Bailey, a German Shepard, and Rudy, a Chocolate Lab!
