Understanding and seeing the personal, functional, and economic impact that upper extremity injuries have on patients’ lives was a motivating factor in MaryAnn’s decision to concentrate in the specialty of Hand and Upper Extremity Rehabilitation. MaryAnn attained a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy at the University of Pittsburgh. She earned the Post Professional Certification in Hand and Upper Quarter Rehabilitation from Drexel University, followed by a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree with an emphasis on Management and Business Administration from EIM Institute of Health Professions. Over the course of her career MaryAnn had the opportunity to work alongside the pioneers in hand surgery and rehabilitation from the Philadelphia and Lehigh Valley area during the establishment of this specialty in the region. With 30 years of clinical and management experience, Mary Ann practices with an emphasis on hand and upper quarter rehabilitation and custom splinting. She is a Certified Hand Therapist, recognized by the Hand Therapy Certification Commission and is the Facility Director of St. Luke’s University Health Network’s Hometown clinic where her team focuses on individualized patient evaluation and treatment with an emphasis on quality functional outcomes.

Jennifer has extensive experience in the evaluation and treatment of orthopedic injuries and disorders as well as vestibular rehabilitation. She graduated from the University of Scranton with a Bachelor’s degree in Health Science and a Master’s of Physical Therapy degree. She enjoys building relationships with her patients and enjoys forming a partnership to achieve the patient’s desired goals and outcomes in physical therapy. Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys gardening, hiking, reading, and spending time with her family.

Brendan graduated from Lock Haven University with a Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training and received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degreefrom Thomas Jefferson University. In addition to his Physical Therapy Degree and License, Brendan is a Certified and Licensed Athletic Trainer, as well as a Certified ART® Provider. Brendan is also FMS Certified, and a Primary Care Provider under the St. Luke’s Comprehensive Spine program and a provider within the St. Luke’s Running Center. Brendan specializes in sports medicine and the treatment of athletes and active individuals of all ages.  He uses a variety of methods to help return individuals back to their previous levels, including an emphasis on both hands on and active treatments. Brendan also specializes in Video Analysis and mechanical adjustment for advancing performance and prevention of injury for both throwers and runners. Brendan completed an internship at the Rothman Institute requiring him to conduct research and work with an elite team of physicians involved in the training and treatment of athletes associated with both the Philadelphia Phillies and the Philadelphia Eagles.

Rich has a passion for working with musculoskeletal disorders in people of all ages, occupations, and sport interests. He received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from Penn State University in 1982. He then acquired his Associate Degree as a Physician Assistant from the Hershey Medical Center in 1984, and his Bachelor’s of Science in Physical Therapy degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 1986. He became certified in the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy of the Spine and Extremities in 1996, being one of the first physical therapists in the state of Pennsylvania to achieve that credentialing. He has concentrated his 36 years of clinical practice in the evaluation and treatment of orthopedic disorders affecting the neck, back, and upper and lower extremities. He also has extensive experience treating work and auto injuries, and in rehabilitating post-surgical spine, shoulder, hip, knee, and ankle conditions. His treatment philosophy encourages patient compliance with their home exercise program to achieve their best possible outcome from physical therapy.

Brian received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Alvernia University. He also holds his Associate’s degree in Physical Therapist Assistant and Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science from The Pennsylvania State University. He has a passion for working with a variety of orthopedic injuries and holds clinical interests in manual therapy, orthopedics, vestibular rehabilitation, and sports medicine. Brian is committed to furthering his clinical skills and believes in providing a personalized as well as an evidenced based approach to get you back to the activities you enjoy doing. In his free time, Brian enjoys hiking, exercising, golfing, and spending time with family and friends.

Certified Orthopedic Physical Therapy Assistant

Corinne received her Associate of Applied Science in Physical Therapist Assistant degree from Lehigh Carbon Community College. She also obtained an additional Associate’s degree in Liberal Arts. Corinne obtained her Specialty Certification in Orthopedics through Evidence in Motion and is a Certified Graston Technique Specialist. Corinne believes in a hands-on evidence-based approach to treatment and tailoring each treatment to a patient’s goals. She has worked with all types of patients which include geriatric, athlete, orthopedic, chronic pain, balance and neurological. Corinne believes that movement is the key to a healthy life and feels privileged to help patients obtain this goal and be part of their recovery team.

Todd received his Associate of Applied Science in Physical Therapist Assistant degree from Lehigh Carbon Community College. Todd believes in hands on and active treatments while returning individuals to prior levels of function before injury. Todd currently practices in hand treatment and therapy while also having vast experience with other PT disciplines. Todd enjoys family time while also participates as an enthusiast in outdoor activities like fishing, hunting and auto races.

Jared graduated from East Stroudsburg University with a B.S. in Athletic Training. He went on to receive his Master of Education from East Stroudsburg University as well. Jared worked with both High School, Collegiate and semi-professional athletes during his career as an Athletic Trainer. Jared then went on to receive his degree and licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant from Whatcom County Community College in Bellingham, WA. He has been a PTA for St. Luke’s University health system for the past 6 years. His interests include treating active and sports related injuries as well as work injuries. Jared’s past experience includes working at the Boeing Company and treating on site injuries for airplane manufacturers.

Christine is a Front Desk Coordinator at the Physical Therapy at St. Luke’s Hometown Office. Her knowledge and experience as well as her accountability and diligence are the result of learning and growing while working in the physical therapy field for a total of seventeen years, the most recent two years with St. Luke’s. Christine is passionate about her work. Providing patients with care, patience, and compassion is her utmost concern. When not at work Christine enjoys spending time with her family and her cats, baking, and walking.

Laura brings a blend of knowledge and expertise to her role as Front Desk Coordinator. With over 15 years of experience spanning neurology, family practices, urgent care, and now physical therapy, she has developed a deep understanding of patient care across various healthcare settings. For two years, she’s been a dedicated part of the Physical Therapy at St. Luke’s team, committed to making sure every patient feels welcome from the moment they walk through the door. Outside of work, Laura enjoys gardening, baking and spending time with her family and friends.
