Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy

Matt earned his Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from The Pennsylvania State University and his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Drexel University. Matt believes in a well-rounded approach to his treatments that focus on helping patients to achieve their personal goals. Outside of the clinic Matt enjoys watching and playing a variety of sports, and spending time with family and friends.

Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Sports Physical Therapy

Monica enjoys working with athletes and active individuals of all ages and using her knowledge and expertise in manual therapy to specialize care for each patient to return to their athletic goals.  Her devotion towards these individuals started at a young age as she became involved with athletics and continued through her participation in collegiate softball.  Monica graduated from the University of Hartford with a Bachelor’s in Health Science and her Master’s in Physical Therapy. She is also a graduate of Temple University with her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. Monica is a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Sports Physical Therapy and also Certified in Manual Therapy. Monica is married with 2 children. As a family, they enjoy being active together, including playing basketball and pickleball.

Daniel graduated from King’s College in Wilke’s Barre with a Bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience. He then studied at DeSales University and received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2018. Since then, Daniel has specialized in the treatment of patients with neurological conditions and those at risk for falls. He is also certified in the LSVT BIG program for helping individuals with Parkinson’s disease. Daniel believes in utilizing evidence-based practices, and in educating patients on how to actively improve their health. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, exercising, and spending time with loved ones.

Certified Orthopedic Physical Therapy Assistant

Sara graduated in 2009 from The Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology. She gained several years of experience working in the health and fitness field before receiving her license as a Physical Therapist Assistant in July 2014. Sara has a specific interest in the area of orthopedics and completed her certification to become a Certified Orthopedic Physical Therapist Assistant in 2023. Outside of physical therapy, Sara, a former competitive gymnast, enjoys golfing, running, and spending time with her family and friends

Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Neurologic Physical Therapy

Vanessa received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Slippery Rock University. Prior to that she received a Bachelor’s of Science in Exercise Science from the same university, with experience working in wellness and personal training. Vanessa started her Physical Therapy career with UPMC Centers for Rehab services in Western Pennsylvania working in the hospital on an inpatient rehab unit. She later transitioned within the same company working in an outpatient clinic seeing orthopedic and neurological patients.   Vanessa is one of our amputee specialists for the network and has worked with amputees since she was in high school. She also specializes in vestibular, neurological, and post-concussion rehabilitation. In her personal time, Vanessa enjoys outdoor activities and cooking with her two kids and two boxers.

Briana received her Bachelor’s Degree in Health Science and Master’s of Science in Occupational Therapy degree from Philadelphia University. She is a Certified LSVT BIG Clinician, DCAT certified, and a Certified Brain Injury Specialist. She enjoys being part of the neurological rehabilitation team with her greatest passion being treating patients with traumatic brain injury, stroke, concussion, Parkinson’s Disease, MS, and other neurological diagnoses. Outside of work, Briana enjoys participating in a Co-ed slow pitch softball league with her husband, spending time with family, and participating in gymnastics with her daughter.

Certified Lymphedema Therapist

Dana began her career as a physical therapist primarily treating individuals with orthopedic conditions. She is a mother of two children and while pregnant with her first child she developed an interest in the specialty of Women’s Health. Dana graduated from East Stroudsburg University in 2008 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Athletic Training and went on to receive her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Arcadia University in 2011. She has since completed post-graduate education courses focused on treating women with pelvic health conditions including those with bowel, bladder and sexual dysfunction as well as throughout pregnancy and post-partum healing. She enjoys helping women of all ages work towards achieving their goals. In addition to her interest in Women’s Health, she is also a Certified Lymphedema Therapist and has training in oncology rehabilitation. She believes in providing empathetic, individualized care in a one-on-one setting utilizing education, manual techniques and specific exercises to empower each person to take charge of their recovery and maximize their functional mobility.

Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Neurologic Physical Therapy

Patrick has a strong interest in and capacity for helping people learn how to move better. This extends largely to people reclaiming mobility following neurologic injury, and to infants/children organizing sensory information and coordinating movements for the first time. Patrick has a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Notre Dame and his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Rhode Island. He enjoys spending time with family, coaching, and learning. He uses evidence-based treatments and works jointly with patients and patient families to help move to the best possible level of function and participation, using active, challenging, functional, patient-centered treatments. He works with other clinicians and physicians to improve clinical care, for example, implementing high intensity gait training for people post stroke, developing capacity to identify and treat functional neurologic disorder, and early identification of cerebral palsy. He leads PD Steps, an education group for people and family members of people with Parkinsons.

Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy

Craig enjoys working with patients across the lifespan and holds a clinical focus and interest in orthopedics. He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Health Science degree as well as his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Lebanon Valley College. He is a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy. Craig believes in utilizing a combination of manual therapy and exercise to create individualized treatment plans to help his patients achieve their goals and return to function. In his spare time, Craig enjoys spending time with his wife and son, playing board games, and brewing beer.

Certified Lymphedema Therapist

Susan has a passion for treating cancer survivors over the years and progressed her education by becoming a certified lymphedema specialist in 2015. These patients strive to live their lives fully and energizes Susan to be able to treat them fully whether if it is to increase range of motion and strength or to prevent or control their lymphedema. Susan graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with her Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy and a Master’s Degree in Human Resource Administration from the University of Scranton. Susan currently splits her time between patient care at our Emmaus office and an administrative role for compliance and coverage of our offices. When not at work, she enjoys traveling with her husband Rob, and especially scuba diving in different places along with going on fishing trips.

Certified Stroke Rehabilitation Specialist

Kamille is a Neurology Physical Therapist who earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Physical Therapy degree from the University of Puerto Rico and her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Utica College in New York. She has 31 years of experience in the evaluation and personalized treatment of clients with neurological impairments including Stroke, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s Disease, ALS, POTS, concussion, BPPV and Guillan Barre. Kamille has published on the topic of early mobilization of the clients with strokes, developed algorithms for the treatment of the clients with strokes within their early acute phase and has presented in various American Physical Therapy Association Combined Section Meetings on her areas of expertise. She is a Certified Stroke Rehabilitation Specialist and an LSVT BIG Clinician. She loves spending time with her family and enjoys traveling.

Kristine received both her Bachelor’s degree and her Master’s of Science in Speech- Language Pathology degree from Clarion University of Pennsylvania. She has experience with the skilled nursing long-term care population and in the outpatient rehabilitation setting. Kristine is a Certified LSVT BIG Clinician and is a Certified VitalStim Therapy Provider. She is licensed in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Kristine enjoys working with individuals experiencing a variety of speech, language, voice, cognitive, and swallowing disorders and believes in a patient- centered approach to treatment interventions.

Brittany graduated from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania with her Exercise Science degree and later received her Master’s of Occupational Therapy degree from Wesley College. Brittany has prior experience with older adults in the long-term care setting as well as outpatient pediatrics. Brittany has also traveled to Kenya and worked with children who had various neurological conditions.  She believes in building a strong rapport while also developing a client centered treatment approach with family to allow for better performance in everyday tasks and to lead a fulfilling life.

Mark takes pride in his life long passion and involvement in health and fitness. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Biology and Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Arcadia University. He believes strongly in a patient-centered approach to treatment, emphasizing their goals in the administration of a movement-based and hands-on treatment style in order to maximize patient return to optimal function. Prior to starting his career as a physical therapist, Mark was a competitive swimmer, swim coach, and stroke clinician.
