Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Sports Physical Therapy

Ryan is a life-long athlete and became interested in physical therapy due to various sporting injuries in high school athletics allowing him to become acquainted with PT at a young age. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Health Care Management and his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree through Misericordia University. Ryan is certified through the National Strengthening and Conditioning Association as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. His treatment philosophy is centered upon reducing or eliminating his patient’s pain and optimizing their function to not only allow them to return to their previous activities and hobbies, but to prevent future occurrences of dysfunction through education and effective treatment. To better serve the Palmer community, Ryan completed the requirements to become a Board-Certified Sports Certified Specialist through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specializations. Outside of the clinic, Ryan enjoys weightlifting and anything outdoors including, hiking, cycling, snowboarding, traveling with his wife and family and playing with his dog Oakley.

John is a lifelong athlete and avid sports fan. During his time in college, he worked with the football, basketball, baseball, and gymnastics teams. He also participated in a summer internship with the Minnesota Vikings performing Athletic Training duties. John graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training and received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Boston University. He is a Board-Certified Orthopedic Physical Therapist and completed his Fellowship through the American Association of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists. He believes in an individualized approach to physical therapy that emphasizes hands on and active treatments.

Certified Orthopedic Physical Therapy Assistant

Kelly earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from The Pennsylvania State University. She then attended Lehigh Carbon Community College to attain her Associate of Applied Science in Physical Therapist Assistant degree. Kelly is LSVT BIG Certified and enjoys working with the Parkinson’s population to help each individual regain and maintain mobility and function for overall improved quality of life. She also has additional training in women’s health pelvic floor physical therapy and enjoys treating orthopedic patients to help each patient achieve their personal goals. On her free time, she loves taking her dog Poppy for walks with her husband Alex.

Emila is originally from Northern New Jersey and has had a passion for sports her entire life. She has enjoyed playing volleyball, skiing, hiking, swimming, and being a lifeguard. Emila moved to Pennsylvania to attend the University of Scranton, earning a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Exercise Science with a concentration in Nutrition. After her undergraduate studies, she moved to Philadelphia, and graduated from Thomas Jefferson University with a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. While in Philly, she loved to walk dogs and explore the city. Emila has experience with a variety of patient populations, and especially enjoys treating athletes, based on her previous sports background. She believes in an individualized treatment approach that includes patient education and provides an active treatment style to return to you to your prior hobbies and activities.

Allison graduated from the University of Delaware with a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and minor in Health and Wellness. She continued her education at the University of Delaware where she received a Master’s degree in Anatomy and Clinical Health Science followed by her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree.Allison works with a variety of patient populations including orthopedic, geriatric, neurological and Women’s Health. She is certified in the LSVT BIG program for treating patients with Parkinson’s Disease. She has additional training in Women’s Health Physical Therapy and is passionate about treating women for various diagnoses that impact the pelvic floor. She believes in a compassionate, individualized approach to treatment of all patients, to assist them in returning to their desired functional level, improving their quality of life and reaching their personal goals.

Certified Pelvic Health Practitioner

Kylene’s interests and specialty includes treating and educating patients in regard to pelvic health and pelvic floor conditions. Additionally, she enjoys working with women during their pregnancy and post-partum periods to help patients regain strength and function to safely continue with or return to the activities that they enjoy. Kylene is a graduate of Penn State University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology. She then attended Temple University from which she received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. Kylene has her certification in Pelvic Health through the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute. Outside of physical therapy, Kylene enjoys spending time with her husband and two children and enjoys exercising, and playing tennis, pickleball, and golf for fun.

Lauren attended Misericordia University where she attained her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Healthcare Management followed by her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. She believes in individualized treatment plans that allow each person to get back to their daily and recreational activities. Outside of work, Lauren enjoys hiking, watching football, trying new restaurants, and spending time with her family and friends.
