As Area Manager, Rett supports the Anderson, Wind Gap and New Jersey clinics. He also serves as Facility Director at the Anderson Campus. Rett values helping patients restore their function though empowering them to understand and take control of their own rehabilitation. He graduated from Misericordia University as the co-valedictorian of his class with a Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences and a Master’s of Science in Physical Therapy degree. He later returned to Misericordia to earn his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. Rett is a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy and is also certified in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy of the Spine from the McKenzie Institute. He specializes in the treatment of orthopedic and spine injuries. Rett uses an active approach combined with hands-on techniques to help his patients reduce pain and return to their desired level of function. He also places an emphasis on patient education in self-care and prevention. Rett maintains and active lifestyle including running.

Tom wants and encourages all of his patients to be able to find life enjoyment with movement and exercise, whether it is simply going for a walk, taking care of the home and yard or high-level exercise and competition. Tom’s passion is treating the general population that are hindered from their favorite activities by injury. Tom earned his Bachelor of science in Athletic Training with a minor in Psychology from Frostburg State University, and later moved on to earn his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Widener University. Tom is a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy and has been an adjunct professor for the St. Luke’s University Health Network Orthopedic Physical Therapy Residency Program since 2017. Tom practices in the style of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy or The McKenzie Method. His philosophical approach and belief for positive patient outcomes are listening, education, proper mechanical assessment to ensure that his patients achieve their goals of recreational exercise, hobbies, vocational demands, and life enjoyment. Tom finds life enjoyment being outdoors with his wife Claire and two sons Lincoln and Carter. Together they enjoy cycling, trail walking, hiking, and running.

Ireland’s great passion is to work with patients across the lifespan to restore function so that they may return to the activities which give their life meaning. Specifically, her clinical interests include lymphedema, manual therapy techniques, and nutrition. Ireland firmly believes that the best care stems from a holistic approach which takes not only the patient’s physical health into consideration, but their unique mental, social, and environmental factors as well. Ireland earned her Bachelor of Science in Health Professions, with a minor in Psychology from Temple University’s College of Public Health. She then continued her studies at Temple University, where she earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2024. Ireland enjoys hiking, weightlifting, and running. She is also an avid gardener, cat mom, and cook that is always in search of a new dish to experiment with.

Jeff received his Master of Science in Physical Therapy Degree from Marymount University where he was the recipient of Outstanding Masters Student Award for the School of Health Professions and his Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree from Arcadia University.  He is a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy and has received Certification in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy of the Spine from the McKenzie Institute. Jeff specializes in treatment of the Spine and emphasizes an active patient centered approach to treatment.  He currently is the Associate Director of the St. Luke’s University Health Network Orthopaedic Physical Therapy Residency Program. Away from work he enjoys spending time with his wife, Cindy, and their two children, Andrew and Elena.

Thomas graduated from DeSales University with a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology and received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from DeSales University, as well. Through his education, Thomas has become a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the NSCA and a Certified Exercise Physiologist through the ASEP. Thomas is also a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy. He brings these certifications into his practice by providing active interventions tailored to individuals to help them return to their previous level of function. Thomas enjoys living an active lifestyle, and is passionate about cycling, nutrition, and overall, wellbeing.

Certified Hand Therapist

Being from the Lehigh Valley, Heather is proud to be a member of the team at Physical Therapy at St. Luke’s, and providing care to the community that she has grown up in. She received a Bachelor’s of Arts degree from Franklin and Marshall College and a Master’s of Occupational Therapy degree from The University of the Sciences, graduating Summa Cum Laude. Upon finishing her professional degree, she completed a Hand Therapy Fellowship at St. Luke’s Hospital to gain knowledge and experience with orthopedic upper extremity conditions. In 2018, she became a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT), and provides expert care for patients with hand, wrist, and elbow injuries. Heather incorporates manual techniques including joint mobilizations, instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization, kinesiotape, and modalities such as ultrasound and iontophoresis into her practice and is skilled in fabricating static and dynamic custom orthotics. She focuses on patient centered care and strives to make therapy a fun and comfortable environment while also challenging patients to reach their physical and functional goals.

Brad has a passion for treating hand and upper extremity injuries and is studying towards becoming a Certified Hand Therapist. He specifically enjoys fabricating custom orthotics and treating the complex and varied conditions that are seen in outpatient hand therapy. He holds a Master’s of Science in Occupational Therapy degree from Salus University and a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Exercise Science from Bloomsburg University. He is currently enrolled in the Virtual Hand and Shoulder fellowship to further his education. Brad’s treatment philosophy is to focus on improving the biomechanical injuries that are unique to each patient while incorporating a client centered approach in order to help patient’s return to occupations they find meaningful. Outside of work Brad enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, hunting and metal detecting, exercising, and spending time with his border collie Oliver.

Certified Orthopedic Physical Therapy Assistant

Lauren enjoys getting to know all her patients and making their treatments fun and educational. She believes that physical therapy should be individualized, and she loves getting her patients back to their areas of enjoyment. She practices under the supervision of DPT Thomas Sadler, and together they practice using the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment. In 2021, Lauren received an honorable discharge from the U.S. Army Reserve Chemical Corp after 8 years of service, and as a result she enjoys treating fellow military veterans. Lauren graduated from Kutztown University with a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice in 2011 and received her Associates degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from Lehigh Carbon Community College in 2018. Lauren is currently attending Misericordia University and is pursuing a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy. She earned her Orthopedic Certification in 2020 from St. Luke’s PTA Orthopedic Certification Program. She was a PCRAFT award recipient in 2021. Lauren likes to remain active by running, cycling, lifting weights, and spending time outdoors with her Bernese Mountain Dog, Oliver.

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

Beth joined St. Luke’s in 2005. She received her BS in Health Sciences from Lock Haven University in 1997, and her AAS in Occupational Therapy from LCCC in 1999. She keeps busy with her two children and enjoy being their biggest cheerleader at all their activities and sporting events. Beth loves anything Disney and enjoys spending time at the beach with her family.

Matthew has a passion for outpatient physical therapy because he truly enjoys seeing his patients reach their goal and treating athletes. Matt strives to make physical therapy a positive experience for patients. After graduating from West Chester University with his Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise Science in 2015, Matt attended Slippery Rock University for graduate school where he earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2018. He holds clinical interest in expanding his manual therapy skills and specifically likes treating pathologies related to the cervical and lumbar spine. Matt has worked for several outpatient physical therapy companies and has managed two new clinics. Outside of work, Matt enjoys running, playing tennis, drawing, and spending time with his friends and family.

Certified Lymphedema Therapist – Upper Extremity

Mari received her bachelor’s degree in exercise physiology from the University of Delaware, a master’s in exercise science and athletic training from West Chester University, a Master’s of Science in Physical Therapy degree at Nuemann University and a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Arcadia University. She is a Certified Lymphedema Therapist as well as a Certified Mastectomy Fitter. She is the Director of Oncology Rehabilitation and is a cofounder of the St Luke’s Mastectomy Fitter Boutique. In her free time, she enjoys spending time walking her 3 dogs Piper, Ruby, and Dixie, as well as doing hot yoga and traveling with her family.
