Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

Briana earned her Bachelor’s in Exercise Science from Slippery Rock University and her Associates of Applied Science from Pennsylvania College of Technology. Briana is a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for St. Luke’s and has experience in various locations and settings including Inpatient, Outpatient, Skilled Nursing, and Acute Care facilities. Briana is developing her niche in Neurology and is a Certified LSVT BIG Clinician and a PWR! Certified Specialist. In addition, she is an ACSM Certified Exercise Physiologist, who has instructed various group fitness classes for the St. Luke’s Health Network in local communities. Briana’s passion for connecting with people allows her to create a unique and safe environment for therapeutic intervention in the most individualized way possible.

Aubrey has a strong interest in both neurological rehabilitation and hand therapy. Throughout Aubrey’s academic and clinical training, she has developed a particular interest in working with aging populations including those affected by cognitive decline, stroke, traumatic brain injury, Parkinson’s Disease and Multiple Sclerosis. Aubrey is driven by a belief in the transformative power of occupational therapy to help individuals maintain independence, enhance daily functioning, and achieve meaningful engagement in life, despite neurological challenges. With a focus on person-centered care, Aubrey uses individualized therapeutic approaches to restore function and independence through customized treatment plans addressing cognitive, sensory, and motor deficits. She developed an interest in hand therapy through research conducted during her academic career involving the effects of cupping therapy on protective sensation, presented at the American Occupational Therapy Association conference in 2024. Aubrey holds a Master of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy from Moravian University and Bachelor of Science Degrees in Health Science and Psychology from Moravian University. Her certifications consist of Safe Zone trained and CarFit certified. She has a strong commitment to improving quality of life through targeted evidence-based interventions.

Danielle received her Bachelor’s Degree in Music from Westminster Choir College of Rider University in Princeton, NJ, with a special focus in Classical Voice and Choral Performance. At Westminster, she developed a passion for voice science, which ultimately led her to become a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. In the years following, she obtained her Master’s of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders degree from Emerson College in Boston, MA. With her background in voice performance, she has a special skill set in treating a variety of voice-related concerns. Danielle believes that communication is what makes us human – it is a necessary and enriching part of life that should be valued and nourished, no matter what form it may take. Recognizing that attending therapy can be a vulnerable experience, Danielle strives to make each patient feel comfortable by facilitating a safe environment for reaching goals together.

Andrea has a passion for working with a variety of patients across the lifespan and holds clinical experience with general orthopedics, neuro, and manual therapy. She enjoys working closely with her patients to help them achieve their goals. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Lebanon Valley College. Andrea strives to make physical therapy an enjoyable experience for every patient and enjoys working as a team with her patients to achieve their personal goals.

After witnessing her grandfather go through rehabilitation to learn to walk again after a series of strokes, Stephanie developed an interest in neuroscience and stroke rehabilitation. She graduated from Temple University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and then later received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. She currently sees a very diverse population but has special interests in the neurological, amputee, and vestibular population. Stephanie strives to help her patients return to their prior level of function and achieve their goals. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling to U.S. National Parks and other countries.

As a tri-sport high school athlete, Gina McArdle learned firsthand about the field of Physical Therapy after she tore her ACL while playing field hockey. It was after months of hard work with her dedicated Physical Therapist that she was inspired to take her next steps.  She went on to attend Misericordia University where she also played collegiate softball. Gina graduated from Misericordia in 2011 with her Bachelor’s Degree in Health Science and Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy. She also received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Misericordia in 2014. Gina is also a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy. She more recently has been gaining experience in the world of academia as an adjunct professor for a local college, teaching in orthopedic physical therapy. She is experienced treating a wide variety of orthopedic conditions and has special interest in treating athletes of all ages, knee pain, foot/ankle pain, and post-concussion. Gina believes in incorporating evidence-based practice combined with patients’ individual abilities and interests in order to maximize outcomes. In her free time, Gina enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. She also enjoys reading and exercising, especially weightlifting.

Mary is a Jim Thorpe native, currently residing in Lehighton for the past 30+years. She received her Associate of Applied Science in Physical Therapist Assistant degree in 1995 from Lehigh Carbon Community College PTA program. Was distinguished with the Northeast Physical Therapy Student award in her graduating class. 2020 Graduate of LEADERSHIP Carbon program. Certified in Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Massage. Clinical Instructor for PTA students ~ 20 years. 26 years of collective experience in SNF, Sports Medicine, Wellness, In-patient, and Primarily Orthopedic Rehab settings. Proudly participates and has been involved in numerous entities with Community Service over the past 30 years. “It is a gift, a blessing, and a privilege to be able to provide services and care to all my past, present, and future clients.”

Tiven was a three-sport athlete in high school who was awarded several MVP, Top Female Athlete and Female Scholar Athlete awards her senior year. While playing field hockey, basketball, and track she sustained a repetitive ankle injury which required physical therapy to keep her competitive. This sparked an interest in the PT field and steered her to The University of Pittsburgh to pursue her career path. After graduating with a Bachelor’s of Science in Physical Therapy degree, she went on to work in multiple areas of practice embracing a diverse population of patients. She brings over 35 years of experience to the table in outpatient, inpatient, skilled nursing facility and home care settings. Client centered PT focusing on patient needs, interest and goals fuels her philosophy for providing individual based treatment programs. Her passion lies in treating outpatient orthopedic cases. Tiven is married with two adult daughters who also work in the medical field.  As an enthusiastic dog lover, she enjoys spending her free time with her three pups. Additionally, she cherishes time with family and friends and loves to recharge her battery at the beach.

Certified Lymphedema Therapist

Christine earned her Associate of Applied Science in Physical Therapist Assistant degree from Lehigh Carbon Community College. She has more than seventeen years of outpatient rehabilitation experience at St. Luke’s University Health Network. She specializes in orthopedics, neurology, vestibular, and oncology/lymphedema. Christine is a Certified Lymphedema Therapist from North School of Lymphatic Therapy with additional training in “Strength After Breast Cancer” (ABC) and wound care. She is also a Certified LSVT BIG Clinician and PWR! Certified for effective physical therapy treatment for individuals with Parkinson Disease (PD). She has additional training in Myofascial Release (John F. Barnes) – MFR1, Cervical-Thoracic and Graston Technique for soft tissue therapy. Christine believes in a compassionate, integrative approach to treatment of all patients, to assist them in returning to their full functional/recreational activity level and improving their overall quality of life.

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

Lisa received an Occupational Therapy Assistant degree from Lehigh Carbon Community College in 2000. Lisa has worked in all settings of Occupational Therapy including inpatient, SNF, home health care and outpatient rehab. Her true passion is outpatient rehab, primarily treating hand and upper extremity injuries as well as treating neurological conditions. She is a Certified Interactive Metronome Treatment Specialist and a Certified LSVT BIG Clinician. Lisa takes pride in providing health care services to people in this area as a native to Lehighton. In her free time, Lisa enjoys spending time her family.

Certified Orthopedic Physical Therapy Assistant

Kristin graduated for Messiah College in 2002 with a Bachelor’s in Sport and Exercise Science. She received a Associate of Applied Science in Physical Therapist Assistant degree from Lehigh Carbon Community College in 2005. Kristin has worked in all settings of physical therapy including in patient, acute rehab, and outpatient. Her passion is in outpatient, specifically orthopedics and concussion management. Kristin received her Physical Therapist Assistant Specialty Certification in Orthopedics in 2019. In her free time, Kristin enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and two children, camping, bike riding, and competing in Spartan races.
