Allentown - Tilghman Pediatrics

Kristin graduated from St. Francis University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Science and minors in exercise physiology, ethics, psychology, and women, children, and the community. She then went on to receive her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from St. Francis University. Following her graduation, she successfully completed a Pediatric Residency through St. Francis University to expand her knowledge of pediatric treatments as well as gain experience in a variety of clinical settings. Kristin has a passion for working with the pediatric population, utilizing both a team-based approach and evidence-based practice to improve overall function with the ultimate goal of participation in age-appropriate activities. She encourages collaborative goal setting and patient-centered care to better meet the needs of the patient/family and improve the overall therapy environment.

Jennifer holds a Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree from Temple University. She practiced in multiple settings including adult orthopedics and neurological therapy prior to finding her true passion for pediatrics.  She believes in incorporating fun and play with evidence-based practice to achieve the best outcomes for patients and their families.  In her spare time, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her family, yoga, and hiking.

Courtney graduated from Cedar Crest College with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and a minor in Health and Wellness. She then went on to receive her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Arcadia University. She has a passion for working with the pediatric population, utilizing a variety of treatment strategies to create a fun yet effective environment for children to maximize their function and mobility. She also believes that both a team-based and evidence-based approach to therapy is necessary to improve outcomes and achieve desired patient/family goals.

Cailee is a bilingual speech therapist who graduated from Bloomsburg University with a Bachelor of Science in Speech-Language Pathology and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Language and Literature. Cailee obtained a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Moravian University. She has experience providing school-based services to individuals who are bilingual, have complex communication needs, benefit from use of AAC devices, and have a wide variety of diagnoses including autism spectrum disorder. Cailee is passionate about providing culturally and linguistically conscious therapy that helps patients grow their communication skills. In her free time, Cailee enjoys reading, cooking, golfing, and spending time with her family and friends.

Cailee recibió su título de máster en Patología del habla y lenguaje de la Universidad Moravian. Ella tiene experiencia trabajando en escuelas con personas que son bilingües, tienen necesidades de comunicación compleja, se benefician de CAA y que tienen una variedad de diagnósticos, incluyendo los trastornos del espectro autista. Kasey received her Bachelor of Science in Speech Pathology and Audiology from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania, and her Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders degree from East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania. She currently holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence for Speech-Language Pathologists (CCC-SLP) and is Pennsylvania state licensed. She has prior experience in a school-based setting, serving children from grades K-12 in special education settings including Life Skills Support and Autistic Support classrooms. Kasey has experience with a variety of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices and has a passion for working with children that utilize multiple modalities to functionally communicate. She believes that child-led, play-based approaches can lead to positive outcomes; and participation in a multi-disciplinary setting may encourage continued growth for children. Kasey promotes a strong collaboration with families to maximize a child’s potential in successfully communicating across many settings and opportunities.

Erika is a pediatric occupational therapist with a passion for helping children discover their unique strengths and grow to their full potential. She earned her Master’s of Science in Occupational Therapy degree with a pediatric specialization and minor in psychology from Misericordia University. Erika is currently pursuing her Doctor of Occupational Therapy degree at King’s College with a focus on Clinical Leadership. At King’s College, she is co-founder of the Go Baby Go-Northeastern Pennsylvania Chapter that enables independent mobility for children with disabilities through the use of modified ride-on cars. Erika believes in integrating a strengths-based approach with evidence-based practice to provide each family and child a personalized and positive therapy experience. She loves bringing high-energy and creativity to her sessions and is looking forward to empowering all children to achieve occupational success!

Dannielle has a passion for working with children with communication disorders and holds clinical interests in articulation, language, & fluency therapy. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders, Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, and Master’s of Science in Speech-Language Pathology degree from Syracuse University. Dannielle has worked with individuals across the lifespan in a variety of settings, including private clinics and schools. She is committed to providing individualized, evidence-based speech-language therapy while collaborating with families to enhance communication. Throughout her life, she has performed in musicals and choirs, so she loves to incorporate music into speech therapy whenever possible!

Certified Lactation Consultant

Christian received her Master’s of Science in Speech-Language Pathology degree from Seton Hall University. She has experience in the treatment of pediatric language and feeding disorders with a variety of populations in private practice and outpatient rehabilitation settings. Christian holds certifications in the Sequential Oral Sensory Feeding Approach (SOS Approach), Supporting Oral Feeding in Fragile Infants (SOFFI Method), and is a Certified Lactation Consultant. She specializes in infant feeding and evaluates and treats breastfed and bottle-fed infants. She believes in collaborating with and educating patients and their caregivers to provide individualized treatment.

Patrick has a strong interest in and capacity for helping people learn how to move better. This extends largely to people reclaiming mobility following neurologic injury, and to infants/children organizing sensory information and coordinating movements for the first time. Patrick has a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Notre Dame and his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Rhode Island. He enjoys spending time with family, coaching, and learning. He uses evidence-based treatments and works jointly with patients and patient families to help move to the best possible level of function and participation, using active, challenging, functional, patient-centered treatments. He works with other clinicians and physicians to improve clinical care, for example, implementing high intensity gait training for people post stroke, developing capacity to identify and treat functional neurologic disorder, and early identification of cerebral palsy. He leads PD Steps, an education group for people and family members of people with Parkinsons.

Audrey is a pediatric speech therapist thrilled to be a part of the Physical Therapy at St. Luke’s Tilghman Peds team helping children achieve their communication goals. Her clinical interests include articulation, language, and pragmatic therapy. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Pittsburgh and a Master’s of Arts in Communication Disorders and Sciences degree from the University at Buffalo. Audrey’s clinical experience includes various settings (schools, hospitals, and outpatient clinics) and ranges from pediatrics to geriatrics. As a speech therapist she aims to provide individualized therapy activities that encourage her clients to work towards their speech and language goals while also having tons of fun.

Kendall graduated from Penn State University with a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and received her Master’s of Science in Occupational Therapy degree from Sacred Heart University. She is a pediatric per diem therapist who specializes in working with medically complex children, infant feeding, and picky eaters. She has completed the Sensory Oral Sequential Feeding program (SOS) and the Supporting Oral Feeding in Fragile Infants (SOFFI) course. She has completed multiple presentations discussing various stages of feeding difficulties. As a mom of two, she understands the importance of mealtimes, food variety, state regulation, and play skills, as well as the importance of each child being able to thrive in their own environment. Kendall strives to provide education to caregivers due to their integral piece of their child’s development and progression and creating an individualized plan based on the family’s culture and schedule.

Mary has been working as a pediatric OT for more than 20 years. She has worked in a variety of settings including school, clinic, and home-based early intervention. She has worked with children with a wide range of needs, especially those with autism and feeding needs. Mary received her Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy degree from College Misericordia. She has certification in the Sequential Oral Sensory Approach to Feeding (SOS approach). Mary believes in working with families to enable them to meet the needs of their children through play. Mary is very proud of her 2 children, Patrick-who is pursuing a career in the business field, and Abby-who is attending nursing school in Georgia and playing on the women’s soccer team. She also has a rescue dog named Rosie who likes treats and walks. Mary enjoys cooking, knitting, yoga, and travel.
