Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy

Nick utilizes his extensive clinical experience, advanced training and skill set to work with chronic pain and challenging cases. Nick has been mentoring younger clinicians and has assisted in the development of mentoring programs within our network. He received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2005 from the University of Delaware and Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopedics in 2011. His treatments focus on functional manual therapy to restore a patient’s prior level of function, regardless of their age or injury, by utilizing a combination of manual therapy and exercises that are prescribed for each individual’s specific needs. Nick is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Nick is core faculty in the Orthopedic Physical Therapy Residency at St. Luke’s University Health Network. He is also a member of the National Ski Patrol and volunteers his time as a patroller at Blue Mountain Ski Resort. He is a father of three and actively involved in coaching local youth sport teams.

As a runner, hiker and traveler, Cody understands injuries may occur and enjoys the process of helping people return to the things that they enjoy. Cody received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Arcadia University. He additionally completed the St. Luke’s Orthopedic Residency program and became a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy. He believes in meeting each person’s goals through individualized treatment plans that emphasize a combination of hands-on and active approaches to rehabilitation. He strives to make patient education a central component to his sessions to improve both the individual’s understanding of their condition and their ability to address it. In his free time, Cody enjoys spending time with his wife and family.

Kristen, a Lehigh Valley native, graduated from the University of Delaware with a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology and earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Temple University. Kristen is a Board Certified and licensed physical therapist and a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopedics. Kristen’s treatment approach emphasizes hands-on manual therapy and patient-specific exercises geared at returning a patient to their prior level of function. Kristen enjoys working with individuals whose lives have been affected by an orthopedic or sports related injury and are looking to achieve the optimal results of rehabilitation.

Gail has been a Physical Therapy Assistant for 40 years and has been with St Luke’s since 2004. Her hobbies include outdoor activities, fishing, gardening and cooking.

As an endurance athlete who enjoys a variety of outdoor activities, Joe enjoys working with individuals throughout the lifespan to improve movement efficiency to return to their specific sports, hobbies, and work-related activities. He received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Arcadia University and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Baldwin Wallace College. Joe is a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist and Orthopedic and Geriatric Physical Therapy and a Certified Exercise Expert for Aging Adults. His treatment approach emphasizes a combination manual therapy and re-education techniques coupled with patient-specific exercises geared toward regaining functional mobility and movement patterns. In addition to patient care, he works with the clinical education program to facilitate high quality education for students completing Allied Health rotations.
