Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy

Laura has a passion for fitness that translates over to her treatment. Specifically, she enjoys lifting weights and treating weightlifters in physical therapy. She graduated from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia with a Bachelor’s of Health Sciences and Master’s of Physical Therapy degree and went on to complete her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree through Temple University and her Manual Therapy Fellowship through The Manual Therapy Institute. She is a Board-Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS), a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy (FAAOMPT), and Direct Access certified.  She is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy. Laura focuses on finding the cause of the problem while facilitating an individualized and comprehensive approach to treatment. In her free time, she enjoys working out, spending time with her English Bulldog Lucy, and playing games with friends, especially pinochle and backgammon.

Dorothy graduated from Penn State University with her Bachelors in Kinesiology. She then earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Arcadia University. She is a Board-Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) and is also Direct Access certified. Dorothy enjoys working with a variety of diagnoses and aims for a patient-centered approach to help each individual achieve their therapy goals. Outside of work, Dorothy enjoys visiting national parks, hiking with her husband and dog, and woodworking.

Certified Orthopedic Physical Therapy Assistant

Adam graduated with a Associate of Applied Science in Physical Therapist Assistant degree from Lehigh Carbon Community College. He believes in a functional approach to rehabilitation, in an effort to meet individual’s needs and return them to their prior way of living. In his free time, he enjoys teaching high school marching band/percussion and beginner woodworking.

Certified in The McKenzie Method® of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy®

Alex specializes in manual therapy, using a wide range of techniques that best suits his patients. He graduated from DeSales University with a Bachelor’s degree in Sport and Exercise Science and he received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Dominican College. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists (FAAOMPT) and is a Board-Certified Orthopedic Physical Therapist. He is also trained in Redcord Incorporating Neurac Method, a treatment that aims to restore functional and pain-free movement patterns through high levels of neuromuscular stimulation. Alex believes in applying manual therapy along with movement to empower the patient in achieving their goals. He is published in the journal of student physical therapy research where the study focused on treatment of overhead athletes, mainly baseball players, and ways to safely improve their range of motion and prevent shoulder and elbow injury. While at DeSales, Alex played four years of baseball and developed a strong passion for working with overhead athletes. He is adjunct faculty for Moravian University in their Physical Therapy program. Alex also mentors for Physical Therapy at St. Luke’s residency program and is core faculty in their Spine Fellowship Program.

Quintin has a strong interest in working with athletes of all ages and holds clinical interests in orthopedics, manual therapy, and endurance and resistance training. Specifically, Quintin enjoys working with golfers and athletes of all sports. He holds a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from DeSales University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from West Chester University. He is a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy. Quintin also has Titleist Performance Institute Level 1 Certification (TPI), which allows him to evaluate and treat golfers by analyzing their swing and movements. He is also Direct Access certified. Quintin believes in a hands-on and evidence-based approach, targeting each person as an individual while tailoring their exercise programs to focus on their goals. Outside of work Quintin enjoys golfing, exercising, and spending time with his family and friends.

Lucas is a former college and strength athlete and has had his fair share of sprains, strains and pains. He understands the frustration of not being able to participate in sports, hobbies, and even normal daily tasks because of pain or injuries. He enjoys working with people across their lifespan to return and increase their normal function. Lucas is a graduate of Ursinus College and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Health & Exercise Physiology. He earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from DeSales University and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. He was a resident through the St. Luke’s Orthopedic Physical Therapy Residency Program and is a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy to better serve his patients. Lucas integrates manual therapy, education, and strength training principles into his treatment plans to help patients reach their goals. In his free time, he likes to lift weights, make pottery, cook, and play board games, and video games.

Mark is a strong advocate of maintaining a healthy level of fitness in all stages of life and enjoys helping his patients achieve this or any other goals that they may have. He is also involved in strength sports and grappling sports, giving him a personal connection and perspective when treating athletes who are also involved in these sports. Mark earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from University of the Sciences in Philadelphia. He is currently a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. He is also certified in the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy. Mark believes that the foundation of successful treatment is through self-management strategies coupled with patient education which is tailored specifically for each patient. Mark makes an effort to educate each patient so that they can not only resolve their current issue, but also help prevent future pain or on injuries.

Patrick has a passion for treating and managing a variety of different orthopedic and sports-related conditions. He received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree form Arcadia University and received a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from James Madison University. Patrick is a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy. He has been involved with sports and running since he was young which was his motivation for pursuing a career in Physical Therapy. Patrick focuses on optimizing patient function and recovery by individualizing every patient’s treatment to meet their needs and goals.

As someone who is active and has participated in various sports from a young age, Jessica understands how impactful an injury can be on your life. She aims to provide patients with quality care with a focus on compassion and understanding to help patients during their healing journey. Jessica graduated from DeSales University with a Bachelor’s degree in Sport and Exercise Physiology and proceeded to receive her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the same university. She has a passion for treating orthopedic and pelvic health-related conditions and is especially passionate about improving the care that pregnant and postpartum patients receive. She is currently pursuing her advanced certification in pelvic health to further expand and enhance her ability to treat pelvic health-related conditions experienced by all individuals. Jessica believes in an individualized, hands-on treatment approach that utilizes evidence-based practice and patient-centered goals to achieve optimal therapeutic outcomes via a therapeutic alliance built on trust through encouragement, empathy, and empowerment. In her free time, she enjoys playing and watching soccer, reading, crocheting, hiking, and spending time with friends and family.
